I visited here with my wife and 2 friends in September, poor timing on our part as we visited after the last cubs game of the season and the main menu was depleted with only ribs left (they were good though) and I really wanted to try the brisket. However I did have the wing appetizer and if these were... More

Since we cook with Sweet Baby Ray's barbecue sauce, we had to try this restaurant. There are several in the Chicago area, but we ate at the one on Clark Street near Wrigley Field. I couldn't find it listed on Trip Advisor. Hopefully they will now add it. We arrived right after a Cubs' win at Wrigley and before the... More

We came before a Cubs game, and this was the only restaurant we could get in on time. The bar tenders were very busy, made great drinks but couldn't remember what he had served us and overcharged us by several drinks. The waitress was not the best. She made several errors on our order (4 people) we had to ask... More

Stumble onto this place by accident while in Chicago. Took the subway to Wrigley Field and walk down the street to this great little gem. We had great service and the portion size was too large for one. Would visit again if in Chicago again.

Going to see the "Lovable Losers" (the Cubs) is made much less painful if you eat at Sweet Baby Rays. Right across from Wrigley Field, it is BBQ from heaven. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. I'm not a big fan of BBQ, but this was fantastic. I had the chicken wings with the sauce on the side. I... More

We were lucky enough to visit on a day that the Cubs were out of town, so parking was a breeze. We were seated quickly & told that for every bar drink that was ordered, we would get a free pulled pork slider from the patio. If I were a younger gal...well, suffice it to say, I had one beer... More

Located on North Ave a short stroll from our hostel, Uberstein was a welcome find. We went on Monday with the .25cent chicken wings done four ways - naked, BBQ, buffalo mild or buffalo hot. Great value for money and the bar guy offered great advice on which Getman beers to try. Perfect spot for boys with rock video clips... More

The bier tastes the same as the Hofbrau Haus in Munich and Oktoberfest . Great Deutsche atmosphere, and food is great. We had the appetizer sampler and it was fantastic--plus many rounds of bier! can't wait to return.

I went here for the third or fourth time last Saturday for some late night drinks, and they overcharged my credit card by $30! Other than that, this is an okay bar and it's where to go if you want German beer or food in Wrigleyville. Just pay in cash.
