We had a large group who ate at this restaurant last night and it was absolutely amazing. I've eaten at a number of the Francesca restaurants and this is, by far, the best one I have been to. I ate the veal scaloppini milanese and it was tender, flavorful and balanced. My wife had their spagetti with vodka tomato sause.... More

I love Francesca's. The staff are friendly and attentive but not overbearing; my favorite server always is welcoming and hospitable.. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy. The oil and herb that they have at the table for the bread is addicting. Monday nights offer one if the best specials around - prix fixe 3 course dinner for $25 with... More

Met up for dinner with family. The restaurant has a hand written menu that changes every month. Not a ton of selection 4 of us chose different kinds of pasta and it was good. My mother and brother In law got half a chicken on a plate it looked juicy but without any sides looked boring and my nephew got... More

On Monday nights, you can order any appetizer/salad, almost any main course and any dessert on the menu for $25.00, My main course, a generous piece of fish and grilled asparagus, was $21.99. The food was excellent. There were four of us, each had different selections, and we all loved our food. The carpaccio was a generous portion, the roasted... More

Visiting friends in the Andersonville neighborhood for the weekend, we ended up eating here twice (once for dinner and once for brunch). The food was great both times, and the service was very friendly and prompt.

It's a little confusing to order from this Italian Menu but the staff were kind enough to explain what it is. You have two options to either dine in the restaurant with a beautiful ambience and wine bottles or you could check on the outside by the street which is neatly fenced with flowers and enjoy the cool of the... My wife and I have probably eaten here over 50 times, as we live within walking distance. The bruschetta makes it to our table every time--a delicious example of 'doing the basics well'. The bread is always fresh, seasoned and toasted perfectly, with fresh tomatoes and mozzarella. Francesca's makes little changes to the menu periodically, which is exactly what keeps... More

For a friend's birthday party, I made a reservation over the phone a week in advance for a specific booth in the bar area for five people and then confirmed precisely the same reservation the afternoon of the planned dinner, five hours beforehand. After driving for an hour in rush-hour traffic, I was greeted by a woman at their front... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants! I've enjoyed intimate dinners with my husband, we've also brought friends and relatives to Francesca's. The ambiance is neighborhood, art noveau setting. There is no noise factor. Food is excellent and being allergic to wheat, Francesca's is one of the first restaurants to serve gluten free pasta! From starters to main courses to... More

A friend mentioned this place and we like Italian food and it is just a few blocks from our apartment. What a find. The fried calamari was fabulous; calamari tempura with marinara sauce on the side. Just excellent. My husband had a seafood pasta with fresh clams, scallops and shrimp. Very large serving (not actually our preference -- we would... More
