Excellent gluten free pasta and other GF dishes, the waiter was friendly and attentive, our meals were delicious, hot, and to our specifications. We were not drinking wine, so I cannot comment on the selection. I was hesitant to go to this restaurant as it seemed like a "chain" restaurant, like a Maggianos or Olive Garden, but it was nothing... More

We have been to other Francesca's but decided to try this one in the city during Restaurant Week where restaurants serves a special multi-course meal for a fixed price. After sitting down we were given the regular dinner menus and had to ask for the special Restaurant Week menu, which they gladly gave us and were we happy with our... More

Three of us had lunch here, and all the food was delicious. They have an extensive gluten free menu including gluten free pasta dishes, and I am most appreciative. The lunch special is a great deal, although I can't remember the exact price since I didn't pay! I think it was $13.00 for three courses: soup or salad, main course... More

Was visiting Chicago for the first time and staying nearby. This place was recommended by our hosts and I'm glad we went there. While the area around is a bit sleepy, this place was still packed at 9pm on a Friday night. Sat at the bar and had dinner. The bar service was slow but the bartender was really friendly... More

I love this place ! It's conveniently located right off the bryn mawr redline stop. I haven't had a bad meal here yet ! I love that their menu changes frequently allowing you to try multiple dishes with each visit. Tonight I had the Conchiglie pasta with Spinach ricotta cheese. It was delicious and very filling ! Highly recommend for... More

I went to Francesca's Bryn Mawr for a large rehearsal dinner, and overall, I thought the food was fine, but nothing overly special. There was a cocktail hour beforehand, with basically no-label wines like "Boom Boom Syrah." What kind of restaurant even stocks such a wine, especially at an Italian restaurant where they pride themselves on Italian wines? When we... More

I've dined at this and other Francesca restaurants. I'm not exactly certain why -- if its the food or the service or a combination of the two that makes it my favorite of all the Francesca restaurants. The menu is a monthly one, but they usually offer daily specials as well. I generally recommend that because the pasta sizes tend... More

We had a large group who ate at this restaurant last night and it was absolutely amazing. I've eaten at a number of the Francesca restaurants and this is, by far, the best one I have been to. I ate the veal scaloppini milanese and it was tender, flavorful and balanced. My wife had their spagetti with vodka tomato sause.... More
