Three of us had lunch here, and all the food was delicious. They have an extensive gluten free menu including gluten free pasta dishes, and I am most appreciative. The lunch special is a great deal, although I can't remember the exact price since I didn't pay! I think it was $13.00 for three courses: soup or salad, main course... More

Was visiting Chicago for the first time and staying nearby. This place was recommended by our hosts and I'm glad we went there. While the area around is a bit sleepy, this place was still packed at 9pm on a Friday night. Sat at the bar and had dinner. The bar service was slow but the bartender was really friendly... More

I love this place ! It's conveniently located right off the bryn mawr redline stop. I haven't had a bad meal here yet ! I love that their menu changes frequently allowing you to try multiple dishes with each visit. Tonight I had the Conchiglie pasta with Spinach ricotta cheese. It was delicious and very filling ! Highly recommend for... More

I went to Francesca's Bryn Mawr for a large rehearsal dinner, and overall, I thought the food was fine, but nothing overly special. There was a cocktail hour beforehand, with basically no-label wines like "Boom Boom Syrah." What kind of restaurant even stocks such a wine, especially at an Italian restaurant where they pride themselves on Italian wines? When we... More

I've dined at this and other Francesca restaurants. I'm not exactly certain why -- if its the food or the service or a combination of the two that makes it my favorite of all the Francesca restaurants. The menu is a monthly one, but they usually offer daily specials as well. I generally recommend that because the pasta sizes tend... More

We had a large group who ate at this restaurant last night and it was absolutely amazing. I've eaten at a number of the Francesca restaurants and this is, by far, the best one I have been to. I ate the veal scaloppini milanese and it was tender, flavorful and balanced. My wife had their spagetti with vodka tomato sause.... More

I love Francesca's. The staff are friendly and attentive but not overbearing; my favorite server always is welcoming and hospitable.. The atmosphere is elegant but not stuffy. The oil and herb that they have at the table for the bread is addicting. Monday nights offer one if the best specials around - prix fixe 3 course dinner for $25 with... More

Met up for dinner with family. The restaurant has a hand written menu that changes every month. Not a ton of selection 4 of us chose different kinds of pasta and it was good. My mother and brother In law got half a chicken on a plate it looked juicy but without any sides looked boring and my nephew got... More

On Monday nights, you can order any appetizer/salad, almost any main course and any dessert on the menu for $25.00, My main course, a generous piece of fish and grilled asparagus, was $21.99. The food was excellent. There were four of us, each had different selections, and we all loved our food. The carpaccio was a generous portion, the roasted... More
