Down the street from wrigley field is a haven for vegan eats. A small place with lots of character. The menu is quite varied and everything is vegan, but you can get eggs and dairy if you want. NO MEAT!... The food was delicious and promptly delivered just like a "diner"

First its great to be able to eat anything on the menu. I had the country Benedict. SOOOOO good. The waiter suggested jalapenos if I liked spice and it added a kick without taking away from the flavor. It was so good and really filling. I will never go to Chicago without going there and maybe I'll book a long... More

I made a special effort to get to this restaurant after reading great reviews and seeing it listed as one of the "go to" spots for vegetarians. It did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and helped me make up my mind about what to order. Usually vegetarians have 1 maybe 2 options to pick from on a menu... More

All of the food was wonderful and my husband, a true meat eater, Said he would be a vegetarian if all the food tasted this good! You can tell it's all freshly home made, very good food!

I'm not a vegetarian, but this was close to our hotel and came highly recommended. And I see why. The food was excellent. I had the Thai noodles. Not sure what the meat substitute was but it seemed to fit well. The service was great. All of the staff were very upbeat and helpful. It was quite busy but our... More

This is for the people who have friends that are vegan and don't know where to take them. Both of my daughters are vegetarians, I'm not. Finding a place that we all can ear can be a pain. A lot of places that we have gone to that claim to have vegetarian options turn into plenty of selection for me... More

Hard to criticise this one, for veggies. Good quality, inventive American-style food. Some may not like the way the menu hangs on meat substitutes, but it was fine by our tastes. And the waffle fries are not frozen, but cut from potatoes with skins on. Good beers, too.

With strict dietary restrictions I don't get to have too many treats. A friend from Chicago said the milkshakes are amazing and this place didn't disappoint. You can't tell the shake was missing any ingredients of a normal milkshake. It was so delicious. Come open one of these diners in Minneapolis - please please please.

After several days in Chicago eating deep dish pizza and italian beef sandwiches, my wife insisted we eat somewhere with a little more healthy fare. We tried the Chicago Diner and I am glad we did. Clearly, I am no where near a vegetarian so I was somewhat skeptical of this place and the menu, but I do love a... More
