the southern girl in me comes out every time I go to this place. Amazing brunch and good dinner. Almost anything southern that your heart (or stomach) desires is at this place. To name a few: cheese grits, blackened catfish (available for breakfast or dinner), several Cajun inspired breakfast dishes, super delicious hot chocolate, great service, etc. I strongly recommend... Amazingly broad breakfast menu. All the usuals done well plus things like shrimp and grits and the North Carolina crab cakes, which I ate. Large restaurant used to managing large numbers efficiently and cheerfully. Great food served quickly.

Wishbone is my go to breakfast spot when I want quick friendly service, great southern cooking and a nice mimosa to start my day. I’ve been to both Wishbone locations in Chicago and I favor the Lincoln location, it’s bigger and the décor is nicer. I’ve had everything on their menu from the Jambalaya Omelet to the Shrimp and Grits... More

I love this place - it not only allows families and their rambunctious children to dine here, it throw its arms open and welcomes us. This place is so great for anyone who has young kids as they can make noise and it blends into the noise of all the other children there. I feel relaxed as a parent dining... More

Love the West Loop location so not sure if our experience here at North was usual or rare. Not busy at noon. Lunch: we ordered appetizer, two entrees and sides of special veg. We were "served" with dirty plates and flatware. Saucers for the app had something dirty and disgusting on both, one flatware when unwrapped had stuff stuck on... More

We stayed in a rental house only a block away from here but only had an opportunity to eat here for breakfast one time. Everything was yummy, and our server was friendly and very attentive. We especially enjoyed the chicken and waffles, the cheesy grits, and cinnamon rolls. We tried to come back here for dinner only to find out... More

Just yummy, and super family friendly. I would definitely go again, I just don't recommend bringing any vegans with you.

We were invited to dine at this popular Chicago restaurant. The menu had southern cooking and cajun cooking fare listed. I ordered the pulled North Carolina pork plate with sides of collards and beans. Since I grew up eating that type of food I was curious to see if it compared in taste as was claimed on the menu. The... More

Ok, so I am 52.My kids are out of college. Life is good. Had a very relaxed dinner at Wishbone on a Wednesday night. Two couples. There were very few customers ( the weather was horrible) so the service was excellent. Food was well prepared. We all had different special of the day and no one was disappointed. Looking at...
