I have been here twice, the first time 3 years ago. The food is super fresh, very various, tasty, simply fantastic. I strongly suggest this restaurant. Try the pad thai with transparent noodles, it's a different twist. Ps we were 8 and we spent 118 dollars, tip excluded, a steal!

While the waitstaff will never win "most attentive" the food quality here more than makes up for it. Good portions, great flavors, stellar menu!

Opart never disappoints. The first time I dined there was over 25 years ago. I no longer live in the Chicago area, and is make Opart a destination dining experience. This Thai food is the real deal and I always leave satisfied. Note, the don't take reservations and they don't serve alcohol. There is a liquor store right next door... More

This storefront restaurant, right near the "elevated" tracks in Chicago was a surprise and a delight. The appetizers were delicious (spring rollsand pot stickers), and my entre was wonderfully spicy and healthy (chicken and green beans). The BYOB policy makes an evening out very reasonable, and the servers were pleasant and engaging. I'd go back again and again.

This is a very low key restaurant on state street, great food and good to ok service. The food is authentic Thai. We had tom yum koong, sum tom, yum woon sen, red curry chicken all very good. If you like beef do not pass the neua sa-ded appetizer, absolutely delicious. I was not crazy about Pad Thai which is... More

Last night was my second visit to this humble-looking restaurant in Lincoln Square. The food was excellent, and included dishes I have not seen at other Thai restaurants. It's BYOB and you will want beer or another alcoholic choice to tame the spice - when they say "hot" they mean it. Service was as good as can be expected for... More

I've been going to this place for years. Yes, I always order my favorites, but I am never disappointed even when I vary off the menu. Like many ethic store-front restaurants, this one is also BYOB (bring your own bottle), and I can dine magnificently with a bottle of wine that I grab out of my fridge (go with something... More

I was not very impressed with this establishment. I have had Thai food on many occassions at restaurants all over the country, home cooked Thai food and all over Thailand. The curries and pad thai we ordered lacked sufficient flavor and the portions were so small. We went there for lunch and the prices were what you would expect for... More

I have been to Thailand a couple of times and gotta say the food at Opart is very close to authentic Thai food in Bangkok. I love the Tiger Cry. The grilled beef tenderloin with the special sauce is to die for. My second favorite dish is the Pad See Ew, chewy flat rice noodle with tasty beef and veggies.
