Nice!

On the lobby level of the 4 Seasons, the main dining room is beautifully low-lit, usually with a fire going, with a smaller room in the back, all windows with some nice views, though the tables could be nicer. Excellent service, everyone is friendly, our waiter was always there when needed, but... read more

Being a Chicago native I had never visited to Four Seasons so I was excited when my wife told me we had reservations for Sunday Brunch. While we didn't actually stay at the hotel, my wife enjoyed an amazing spa treatment complete with bamboo sticks she claims. After her massage we made our way to the hotels restaurant Allium. The... We had room service every morning from the Allium and it was an incredible meal. Everything from the OJ to the blueberry pancakes were exceptional. It was a bit pricey but worth every cent we paid. When we are in Chicago again this is the place for us. We had a chance to see their brunch and it was unbelievable.... More

Yes, I have been there for all of these. Staying at the four seasons is amazing and I have been there many times, this restaurant delivers on all meals, great service and innovative food. the quality is great and the value is ok. Ambience is very nice, the view is limited, especially when compared to the higher up floors.

Great menu selection, not outrageously priced considering the neighborhood. Good selection of sizes, excellent wine selection. Atmosphere is very pleasant; you can choose either a lounge type seating, or a restaurant seating. Service is unsurpassed.

We took our concierges recommendation and dined at Allium, which was not far from our hotel. We were immediately seated and greeted by our server, who proceeded to give us recommendations. All of which were spot-on. Appetizers, salads and entrees were high quality and flavorful. Nice presentation also. Will be back.

Allium is the restaurant inside the Four Seasons. It's absolutely our kids favorite place to eat. The have a homemade hot dog, with homemade ketchup, mustard, relish, etc. It's absolutely the best hot dog you'll ever have. The rest of the menu is fantastic and seems to be hitting its stride since Allium opened several years ago. The lounge is... More

Had a late afternoon snack and breakfast here. Lots of comfortable informal seating with large bar area, attentive staff, great choice of appetizers (pretzel balls with fois gras in mustard sauce, bratwurst bangers) and nice selection of single malts for a snack. Menu was wide enough for 4 teen s and parents. Sitting in front of warm fire place was... More

Whether grabbing a quick bite before curtain at the Lookingglass Theater with a friend, or enjoying a leisurely meal with family, Allium is always the best choice. Everyone - the hotel lobby attendants, the host, the waiters, the bussers, are all warm, unpretentious, cheerful, and attentive. The food is extraordinary and there is a wide range of offerings and prices.... More

Staying in Magnificent Mile

Neighborhood Profile
Magnificent Mile
Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale. Some of the city’s most iconic buildings like the Wrigley Building, John Hancock Center and other architectural marvels define the magnificence of this neighborhood.
