We stayed at The Four Seasons in Chicago and had a "free" breakfast included. We were both disappointed. The hostess was professional and courteous but it was downhill from there. The waiter seemed distracted and had trouble remembering simple requests... we waited 15 minutes for water. I asked for black coffee and received a lukewarm cup with cream on the... More

Allium serves brunch only on Sundays starting at 11 am. The atmosphere is very comfortable and warm. The service was great. The brunch consists of a pre-set 4 course meal including an alcoholic drink and a hot drink for around 70 dollars per person. We started with with warm bread covered with caramel and pecans. It was heavenly. Then we... More

Absolutely superb! I am a foodie and this restaurant blew my mind. Wow! Must not miss the corn bread. Nice wine selection, even by the glass.

What a wonderfully birthday gathering I had at Allium. It was a very special evening for me because we requested Allium surprise us with appetizers that would pair perfectly with Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé Champagne. We started with the Cheese Lavosh which was warm and melts in your mouth, but messy. Followed with my all time favorite, Foie Gras "Butter &... More

Our group was staying at the Four Seasons and it ended up being the most convenient place to eat after a long business day. Thank God it was good! We ate there three nights in a row. Top Favorites: flank steak, hamburger, buffalo shrimp, lavosh, asparagus, cheesy potatoes, & creme brulee! Skip Out On: sangria, short rib sliders, and the... More

We only tried it for breakfast. Honestly it is surely overpriced for what it is : just a regular a la carte breakfast for about 40usd per person. Not worth it.

I ate the bar but the service was just as good if not better than the dining room....ask for Brooke as she was amazing! Start with the loaded (yes as in baked potato) deviled eggs......OUTSTANDING! I followed that with the most delicious panzanella salad then the grilled halibut which was cooked to perfection and possibly the BEST halibut I've eaten.... More

Based on recent Tripadvisor reviews, I brought my mum to Allium on our R and R trip to Chicago. The maitre d' brought us back - check. We were seated for quite some time before our server (evening of Sept 9, back room overlooking Michigan Avenue) appeared. Coughing away at us, he brought us the menu and wine list. He... More

We found Allium via a Open Table by luck and so glad we did! Atmosphere is elegant without being too stuffy. Food is farm to table and delicious! We ordered several small plates and appetizers and were completely satisfied. Will come back again.

I've been to Allium three times now--once for brunch and twice for evening drinks in the bar. Each visit has been entirely satisfying and if you find yourself near the north end of the Magnificent Mile, there aren't many better spots. The brunch was sumptuous feast. The large fixed price brunch was actually a little too pricey for me, and... More
