I've been to Allium three times now--once for brunch and twice for evening drinks in the bar. Each visit has been entirely satisfying and if you find yourself near the north end of the Magnificent Mile, there aren't many better spots. The brunch was sumptuous feast. The large fixed price brunch was actually a little too pricey for me, and... More

I wanted to start out by saying.....Allium....pure glamour and elegant as the Four Seasons. Allium has a very intimate & relaxed environment. The food...oh..the food...it was so amazing...we had the crudo, steak, white asparagus soup with edible flowers and almonds, and the pork rind garlic pasta.....Delicious! Everything was fresh from the market... Chef Stephen Wambach did such a wonderful presentation...this... More

Allium is a peaceful, upscale place to enjoy breakfast (or I suppose any other meal!) The offer a nice variety of menu options and were quick to customize our selections. One of us had a waffle with berries and asked for whipped cream - she swears they whipped it up for her fresh! It made the meal great. The Eggs... More

I can't say enough great things about this hideaway in the Four Seasons Hotel, Chicago. The service is first class, the drinks superior, and the food alone makes me want to stay here again. The wait staff was on top of everything and the assistant manager, Steve Minor, was extremely accommodating and friendly. He went out of his way to... More

Visited Chicago to see our cousin. Of all the restaurants, she took us here! Fabulous atmosphere, you really feel important and sophisticated sitting in the dimly-lit lounge style dining room. A great option for sharing appetizers in place of a full dinner. We shared the famous homemade hotdog, hanging baked bread, & brussel sprouts. Great for a drink and light... More

Loved this restaurant. The service was excellent. We had the homemade hot dog and it was divine. I have never tasted a hot dog that good. It was not your usual salty mess and was served with homemade mustard, relish and Ketchup. Delish!

We dined here honestly because we had checked out of the Four Seasons but needed to kill sometime before we left for the airport and it was the easiest dinner option I could think of. What I didn't realize was how good it would be. The food was delicious! Service was slow though so we had to rush through the... More

Allium, an American Restaurant and Bar in the Four Seasons Hotel Chicago had a very cozy and chic atmosphere. My son, daughter-in-law and I went on the 4th of July and the experienced a most enjoyable meal. I had the pork chop and it was cooked to perfection. The flavor was unbelievable and it was very tender. All the portions... More

Allium does not appear to get the publicity it deserves, but then perhaps it too is going for understated quiet. The restaurant is hip in decor and yet quiet enough that even a larger party can hear one another at the table (rare!). The food is excellent and extremely reasonable in price for dinner - we found breakfasts to be... More

This lovely little bar at the Four Seasons Hotel has a new look and is a little less elegant than in previous years, but it is still a great place for cocktails. The choice of photographs in place of the old paintings is a little jarring.
