Excellent service complements the menu

Great menu selection, not outrageously priced considering the neighborhood. Good selection of sizes, excellent wine selection. Atmosphere is very pleasant; you can choose either a lounge type seating, or a restaurant seating. Service is unsurpassed.

We took our concierges recommendation and dined at Allium, which was not far from our hotel. We were immediately seated and greeted by our server, who proceeded to give us recommendations. All of which were spot-on. Appetizers, salads and entrees were high quality and flavorful. Nice presentation also. Will be back.

Allium is the restaurant inside the Four Seasons. It's absolutely our kids favorite place to eat. The have a homemade hot dog, with homemade ketchup, mustard, relish, etc. It's absolutely the best hot dog you'll ever have. The rest of the menu is fantastic and seems to be hitting its stride since Allium opened several years ago. The lounge is... More

Had a late afternoon snack and breakfast here. Lots of comfortable informal seating with large bar area, attentive staff, great choice of appetizers (pretzel balls with fois gras in mustard sauce, bratwurst bangers) and nice selection of single malts for a snack. Menu was wide enough for 4 teen s and parents. Sitting in front of warm fire place was... More

Whether grabbing a quick bite before curtain at the Lookingglass Theater with a friend, or enjoying a leisurely meal with family, Allium is always the best choice. Everyone - the hotel lobby attendants, the host, the waiters, the bussers, are all warm, unpretentious, cheerful, and attentive. The food is extraordinary and there is a wide range of offerings and prices.... More

If you want to be sure to get great quality food and top of the list service treatment , allium is the way to go. I had trouble finding my meal as everything looked just excellent. Filet mignon with a special chunky sauce and Brussels sprouts grilled, were a perfect combination and a great dinner . Lunch was just as... More

Inside the Four Season hotel for Sunday breakfast. The menu is excellent. I had the Chicago Scrambled with bacon. My friend had the yogurt with berries and the eggs benedict. We shared a chocolate croissant. Everything was excellent from the food to the service. The reservation said it was our birthdays so the chef made a birthday plate with fruit,... More

The service has always been superb. The food, never a disappointment. They manage to make eating a holiday meal away from home feel like "the ideal holiday meal. A real celebration." #1. I never go to Chicago without having lunch at Allium. Most of the time, I'll have the "Chicago Hot Dog." ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! I brought my husband and brother... More
