EAsy access and quick preparation, around the corner from my office which made it easy. Choice slimited but the food tastes good.

Had their curry which wasn't spicy, over a pile of basmati rice and diced chicken and a bit of mixed veggies. Decently priced and speedy with putting your food together. They didn't wear sanitation gloves though! What is up with that! I was very hesitant to even eat the food because of that; no clue why neither of the workers... More

Very much enjoyed the food & they had what was essentially a sampler platter that allowed you to try the key sauce/prep styles along with some Naan & chapati, which was cool. The Naan wasn't all that impressive, but everything else was excellent. Recommended

A colleague and I had dinner at Bombay Spice while in Chicago on business. It was an easy walk from our hotel downtown. First the negatives – the front door was very heavy; I watched people struggle with it upon arriving at the restaurant, and it banged noisily every time the server went outside to wait on the outdoor tables,... Think Chipolte but Indian food. It's a great idea but I'm not sure it's quite perfected. However, I would give them another chance.

It's Indian food, but the restaurant feels sort of like a chain restaurant concept. Basically you choose your sauce (masala, curry, spinach, etc.), then your rice (basmati, brown, etc.), your protein (vegetarian, chicken, shrimp, etc.) and vegetable (potato, chick peas, cauliflower, etc.). Then you add extras -- naan, samosas, etc. So it's very formulaic. For me, the food was OK.... More

Ordered delivery to my hotel of vegitable samosa, chicken curry and naan. I took one bite and threw the samosas away. I don't know what the main dish was but it did not look like anything I had previously tried and was simply inedible. The naan turned out to be uncooked pita bread like one would pick up in a... They bill their menu as healthy Indian, which it is, and there are a number of options for creating a meal to suit your taste. I was disappointed because I have a health issue which doesn't allow me to eat spicy hot food. I asked for a recommendation of something that has NO spice, and that's what I ordered, but... More

Let me preface this by saying: I love this restaurant. Why give it only an "Average" rating? Because I come here specifically when I want one of 3 different dishes: the chicken wings, the lentil cakes, and the vegetable (or chicken) biryani. Those three--delicious. And overall, in fact, I have found the food delicious for all the options on the... More

Good value, tasty and healthy. Very friendly staff. We had the 4 sauce sampler and an appetizer and that was plenty for 2 pp.
