This was a quick 4 day ladies trip to attend the Blues Festival. Although, I am from Chicago, I was the biggest tourist in the group. We walked past Wildberry Pancakes and Cafe on Thursday evening as we searched for a place to eat. It was closed! Friday morning, we once again began our search for nourishment and decided to... More

Situated directly across from Millennium Park this spot had a long wait since it was Father's Day. Once inside the service was excellent and breakfast items very tasty indeed. We feasted on delicious omlette as well as pancakes with fresh berries and real maple syrup. Among the usual breakfast meats was baked ham on the bone which was outstanding.

We traveled to Chicago for a quick weekend trip, and before we had left looked up restaurants on this site And the reviews did not disappoint the best food we had while in the city. SO good we ate there on Saturday and Sunday morning. We went around in the morning on Saturday and was seated right away. On Sunday... More

We went for breakfast saturday morning in June about 9am. Not a bad wait, less than 20 minutes. We got coffees at the little coffee bar right inside the restaurant while we waited. We stopped at "the bean" before we got there for some great early morning pics with very few people around. We had 3 people in our party... More

We really enjoyed the veg omelette, latte, chocolate chip pancakes, cherry lemonade and home made jelly. Next time I want to try the potato pancakes. The service was excellent. I would recommend it! Wait was only 15 minutes, good location, across from the park. Xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

After reading about this restaurant on Tripadvisor this place was on my "have to go there" list. My boyfriend said it was probably nothing more than "an upscale IHOP." I insisted he was wrong. He was correct. This is not meant to be a negative review - the food was good and the service was fine. It's just not worth... More

This is probably the best breakfast brunch place in Chicago. We had the waffles and pancakes and they were really soft and tasty. But you do have to queue at weekends as it is so popular, so pick up a buzzer and go for a stroll and come back when it's your turn. Its worth the wait....

It's hard to screw up breakfast. I had a simple breakfast of coffee, eggs, fruit and their fig/multi grain pancakes. Besides the heavy dowsing of cinnamon on the pancakes as decoration (which made them have to remake the order since I can't stand cinnamon), the quality was perfect. I'll be making these pancakes at home now! My husband had the... More

We ate here on our first day in town and were so impressed with not only the food but the service as well that we went back the next day so we could try other items on the menu.
