Great patio brunch!

They have a pretty good size patio with some shade and right next to the river. Beware of the occasional odor coming from the river. I went once for dinner and was not impressed with the menu but we just went back for brunch ( mostly for the patio ) and it was much better. The bloody Mary's still... read more

I was excited to try this based on the creative menu but left feeling like it was an ok experience because of the food. The view and atmosphere are unbeatable! I had the blue mule and it was nothing special. I also had the duck tacos which were good but nothing I experienced makes me want to go back. Our... More

Bumped into this place by accident in the early evening. Requested to be seated outside which was no problem and after that turned out to be too cold (in June!!!) the move to the warmer interior was no issue either, maybe the fact that it was a Monday played a role here... Very friendly reception and waitress who checked back... More

We ate Sunday breakfast here after spending the night in the city at the Trump. It was a short 5 minute walk from the hotel. They have a great brunch menu with breakfast and lunch items on the menu. I had a bacon omelet served with toast & mashed potatoes (!!). My husband had the Bridge Tavern Benedict which was... More

Visited the restaurant with my mom and grandma during a girls weekend. We were greeted and asked if we had a reservation. (Open table said they don't accept reservations on Fridays....) When we replied no, we were told they could squeeze us in and took us to a table by the river. It was early--4:30 so we didn't think it... More

OK, we didn't stay all day, but would if I could. We had an excellent Saturday lunch by the river (started with beignets and mimosas) - saw a marriage proposal by boat, listened to the Memorial Day band tune up, enjoyed large delicious lunches. This was our second visit and we'll definitely return.

The view of the water is amazing and the staff was relaxed and attentive. Food was fine. I would definitely return. I sat inside because I didn't want to wait but outside is even nicer.

I decided to try the Bridge House Tavern because it looked interesting and it was a beautiful day in Chicago and I had had a lousy afternoon and could use a pick me up. The Bridge House provided the perfect respite! I sat by the river and was revitalized. The staff couldn't have been friendlier and more accommodating. The view... More

Love this place! Had a recent biz dinner there, we only ordered appetizers, a lot of them, and they were amazing!!! Super unique, high quality, tasty. The scene is very chill, laid back and friendly. Great seating on the river, but the indoor tables are almost like being outside due to the open air set-up. Will definitely go back!
