great food, decent brews

I had the riot sandwich, and it was GREAT! My wife also liked the BBQ Bacon Burger. The cherry wheat beer was pretty interesting and tasty, but I didn't care for the others as much.

It was a little pricey and the menu was hard to follow, but the food was excellent. When I say pricey, beers were around $5-$7.00 each and for a local brewery I figured they would have a few specials for happy hour, but please... Don't shy away. Food was delicious. I went with the Riot Pulled Pork that the waitress... More

If you like beer, that's the place to go to. They brew there own beer and have a great variety of them available for all tastes. The place is huge and always packed. It's just perfect to go to before you head to a blues or jazz session at one of the many nice clubs in Chicago.

Three of us went to celebrate a birthday and watch some college basketball. There was plenty of room. We were in the back area with multiple big screen TVs, darts, Golden Tee. We ordered a variety of their signature beers and they were all fantastic. The food quality and variety exceeded our expectations - we thought that it was going... More

visited for a late afternoon, Saturday lunch last weekend. We enjoyed over salted pretzels and no so cheesy, cheese curds for an appetizers but after that things improved. They have at least a dozen beers on draft that they make w small 4oz samples for a buck/50. I love that as I can sample many beers than choose the one... More

You should plan to have a meal here and definitely drink beer. It was very crowded at 9 p.m. on a Saturday with an hour wait time. Beware and be prepared to wait. I wish the had more room to wait. The food was equally as good as their beer. Stop by!

We visited here recently while spending the day in the city and were not disappointed. My husband has been wanting to get here since they opened and he was very happy he finally made it. We tried four of their beers - 'My Sweet Cherry Wheat', Aleister Double American IPA, Midnight Conspiracy Oatmeal Stout, and The Defender American Stout -... More

This was my second visit here. My wife and I only had beer this time. The atmosphere is great and the beer spectacular. I have eaten here in the past and the food was great! I strongly recommend visiting here!

We visited Haymarket on Christmas day. The food menu seemed a little lighter than we expected (probably because of the holiday). However, the cheese curds, pretzels, and carrot cake were all nice choices. We tried many of their beers without disappointment. Often, the beers that we did not expect to love were the ones that shocked us the most. Plus,... More
