Good service and beer

We visited during lunch time on a Friday. We had no wait to be seated, although parking was a challenge. Our server recommended several beers and they were very good. I liked that you can also try a sample for just a few dollars. There was a good selection of veggie meals and my meal was tasty. I... read more

I usually rate a place by how many different items I would love to order. They had at least 20. I had a sandwich that had pulled pork, bacon, and Italian sausage and got a variety of bbq sauces. The service was good. The portions were decent. The variety of great tasting options was phenomenal.

So our visit to Haymarket was not planned, but we were very happy to come here. Our server Rae was very helpful in describing the types of beers on tap, giving us food options, but also giving us space to talk and hangout. I had the roasted chicken which was cooked perfectly, while my friend had the bacon and cheese... More

My sister and I came here for Lunch. This was my first visit and I had heard the place was great. We opted to sit in the patio being that it was a nice sunny day. The small patio tables make it a little hard to fit whatever you order, but the staff was great in clearing what we finished... More

The restaurant had a wide variety of drinks, some made in house. The pulled pork sandwich (The Riot specifically) was very good. The sweet potato fries were good too. The service was pretty good, although the restaurant was quite noisy.

Necessary background: I'm a beer geek (over 3,800 beers sampled over 15 years). As a brewpub, this is a little above average for beer. What's great is that they have a lot of beers on tap--about 12 of their own beers--including a barrel aged beer. The beer selection has some creativity and appears to rotate a good deal. Now, I... A group of friends and I called in here for a few beers while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. The place was very full and had a great atmosphere. A huge range of beers were available and I can strongly recommend the stout! I can't comment on the food, but the beers were awesome.

We came here for a few beers and a bite to eat late on Friday afternoon. Our party of 4 had a variety of the beers and they were all pretty good. The beer menu is impressive. For food we had some fried cheese curds to share (a first for me – the curds not the sharing that is) and... More

Be careful about starting a tab with a credit card here. I recently went for an after work event, and my card was charged for the wrong table. Eventually the waitress tracked down my credit card (which she had given to another patron). The next day I checked my statement online, and I have multiple charges, presumably from the table... I love beer! However because this was also a restaurant I was expecting things that I see in other restaurant establishments. For example, I have to agree with the other comments that the service was slow. I came in on a Sunday afternoon and there weren't a lot of customers, yet it took more than 5 minutes to get a...
