The space is great. Beautiful bar. Menu is limited though. Not a basic dish on the menu. I had to ask to create an antipasto. Also had to ask for other pizza options as they only had 1 on menu with brussel sprouts. The food was good. Not great. Chicago has better options. Service was very good though.

This restaurant was noisy, the waiters were scattered, the food was disappointing. It's located in a Marriott hotel but seems to have a problem accommodating the large crowds they must get frequently.

Florentine is in the JW Marriott. I had breakfast there, and the setting was very nice and the food was good. I only gave it 3 stars, however, because the service, while friendly, was painfully slow.

Fabulous little place tucked away inside the JW Marriott in the Financial District. Perfect spot for a private luncheon, following a private, guided tour of the Rookery (just across the street). We had the butternut squash bisque and spinach salad for starters, then moved on to a choice of main -- salmon on brioche (quite good), pork milanese (also very... More

Food was great. Went with a party from work. Noise level in the restaurant was a bit high, yet it was a party from work. I had a Caesar salad which was ok. I also had a Mahi Mahi pan fried with a prosciutto crust on the skin side with brussel sprouts and a light puree of something - maybe... More

We were in town for a long weekend and stayed at the JW Marriott. This 2nd floor restaurant would normally be a little out of my price range for dinner, but they have a great happy hour! Buy a beer or cocktail and get a woodfired pizza Free! Good beer selection, handmade cocktails with fresh ingredients and good pizza. We... More

The restaurant is situated on the second floor of JW Marriott Hotel Chicago. The atmosphere is amazing. I really loved the decor. Felt fresh and stylish, just like the food itself. The pasta is deliciously prepared and the dishes come in really large portions. It's a little pricey considering it's an upscale hotel restaurant but it's a very tranquil spot... More

We were staying in the hotel and wanted a quick bite to eat at around 930p( after a baseball game). We decided to try the hotel restaurant on a whim. They had a great bar (late night menu). We decided to try the BLT burger with Parmesan fries and a pizza. The food was delicious and very fresh.

We scheduled a business dinner at The Florentine, and wow, what a meal. The service was top-notch, and the food was amazing. The dishes were very flavorful, with large portions. We had a great time.

Three of us tried the Florentine for lunch. Walking in, the first impression was that it was a noisy place -- the background music was too loud, people were talking loudly to be heard above the music and there was lots of wood to bounce the sound around. Still, we had heard good things about the food and wanted to... More
