This is a great spot to get in and out in an hour for a productive business lunch. Good food. Great service. Bustling atmosphere.

We ordered several appetizers (the pizza was awesome). I also had the potato leek soup. Yes, potato leek. It is served table side, with 4-6 small perfectly cooked cubes of spiced potato, and the leek is poured over it. Impressive, and very tasty. Overall, all the items were cooked excellently. I ordered the lamb and it turned out a little... More

Please note that Chicago is one of the biggest cities with the best restaurants in America…this is not the case. We went there for our pre-marathon pasta dinner since we needed to have pasta and some of my friends were staying there at the Marriott's. When we arrived I noticed at the entrance it had Michelin stars so I was... More

Top notch food, good wine list (expensive). A good business dinner choice. Our German guest was hoping we would pick a steak place, but had a very nice steak.

Breakfast was excellent and convenient for those staying in the adjacent JW Marriott hotel. You need to tell your server that you're staying in the hotel (they don't ask) to be able to charge the meal to the hotel bill and qualify for a discount.

It was 8 degrees outside so the Tuscan barley soup, dark wood floors and bright smiles all brought welcome warmth. We met at 1:00 and it was bustling with the business lunch crowd and a little loud for my taste. The host seemed a bit flumoxed by all the activity but within a few minutes we were seated and from... Well i love this place! The restaurant is very Upscale, the food its great! I strongly suggest that you start from appetizers and the home made pasta the best! Don't forget to grab desert i usually never do dessert but my wife was in the mood for one and we loved it! It was some passion fruit with frozen dessert... More

This week was in need of a very nice restaurant nearby to host a farewell luncheon for a colleague leaving our company. Kiddingly we called it the last supper and I am very pleased we picked The Florentine. Very nice vibe in the well appointed room and the food/service were excellent. Great selection of fine food and all attending thought... More

Quiet, upscale dining, had a very good, almost perfect bone in pork chop. Very reasonably priced wine collection

I started my most recent visit to Chicago with a breakfast meeting at The Florentine located within the JW Marriott. As with my last few visits this was a great start to the tip, this time I had the egg white omelet with crab which was exceptional. service was attentive, atmosphere conducive to discussion. I reccomend.
