Great lunch buffet.

Went here w my dad for lunch. In a nice part of wicker park. The food is authentic Nepalese, and very tasty. The goat curry w change your life!!!! So good!!!! Decently priced at $13 per head for lunch. Gotta check it out if you've never been.

This was a super experience for my teen-age nieces who were visiting Chicago, as well as two other relatives who live in the city. None of us had had Nepalese food before, and we all thought the flavors were fantastic. We were not interested in the buffet, as we arrived toward the end of lunch time, and ordered from the... Service was attentive and friendly, but we thought the food was just ok for the price we paid. We ordered a lamb dish as our main, and the meat was very poor quality. Even though the rest of our food was pleasant, the lamb tasted like much cheaper meat than it should have for the price we paid.

We decided to go for a lunch at Cumin. When we got there, the server ignored us, then we were seated by the manager. We were told that the buffet was much better than ordering, but the food we wanted was not at the buffet so we ordered our lunch, it took over an hour and when we were asked... More

We live in the area & decided to try this place, total disappointment - food is below average in taste. All they have managed to do is to bring spices & oil level down so that the food get accepted by white community (not Asians). If u are a food lover or just trying to taste a food from different... We had a reservation and were seated quickly even though there was a long line of people waiting for tables. The food was plentiful and nicely seasoned. The comedy was around the wait staff that kept offering to deliver food items we hadn't ordered (presumably it was for other tables). We felt that the prices were reasonable.

It is rare to find Nepalese food anywhere let alone in urban area. This restaurant is very casual, prices are moderate and the offerings unusual. The tandoori goat, for example, was a nice surprise. The spicy spinach was one of the best spinach dishes this writer has ever had - it had ginger, and was not overcooked as in some... More

we decided on this restaurant because my husband wanted to try Indian in Chicago. We eat at a great Indian restaurant in westlake Ohio so we thought we'd give Cumin a try. we made a reservation but didn't think we needed it for a Sunday night at 8:30. It was busy but not crazy which I like. The restaurant features... More

Our family of 4 stopped in at 6 pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was busy, but we were seated right away. We had never dined here before, so we asked our waiter to give us an overview of their specialties. He gave us a good explanation of the menu. We asked him to choose 3 dishes for us:... More

Having visited India, enjoyed a memory in the flavors and dishes we ordered in this Wicker Park neighborhood restaurant. The restaurant was lively, even on a Sunday night. The tandoori was cooked perfectly and the sauces were not heavy and the spices not overpowering. Everything was delicious and we would return.
