Cumin is a small restaurant that does a great job in proving flavorful and authentic Nepalese and Indian food. Service is decent and the owner helps out as well. Nice experience!

Cumin was so flavorful...went with friends who live in Nepal, and they said that everything was very authentic. The goat curry was incredible. The service was fantastic...I think every person working in the restaurant were at our table at least once, and they were incredibly attentive. It was a great experience.

Came for dinner with a party of 4, and were quickly seated. First round of drinks also came quickly while we were perusing the extensive menu. Never having had Nepalese food before, I opted for the namche bazar ko sekuwa (seasoned goat), as well as the lamb curry as a backup. It felt like the food took a bit longer... More

One of the best Indian places in Chicago. Service and food are always consistent. Variety of Nan is great too. Highly recommend!

This restaurant was the highlight of our Chicago trip. We stumbled in, seeking an experience, and we certainly got one. My boyfriend and I, in our twenties and casually dressed, received nothing but the best service as we dined (despite our appearances). We indulged in the perfectly crisp pappadums which come free with the meal, and then proceeded to eat... More

A very extensive ala carte menu comprising both popular Indian and Nepalese dishes, the service was good but the food was outstanding and the portions generous, we had enough left overs for another two meals. Highly recommended and worth a visit.

On our first night in Chicago, we met up with friends of ours who decided to take us to Cumin...we love Indian food so this was a no-brainer!!! You walk in and you can smell the aroma of curry, it's so inviting and warming. Great customer service as well as a very attentive staff. The food was fantastic and this... More

I've been wanting to try Cumin for awhile and finally went for their lunch buffet. I have to say that I was disappointed with the amount of offerings. Compared to restaurants like the Indian Garden and India House, the selection was very limited - channa masala, mixed vegetables, paneer masala, some salad items, a few chicken entrees, rice, one dessert...
