I was visiting my son in Chicago and he suggested we try Ruxbin, which was in his new neighborhood. The menu looked intriguing and it was BYOB, which I liked. Very different décor. Small, friendly and they do take reservations now. All upscale food, nicely presented and excellent taste. BYOB which we love. 4 because its a wonderful neighborhood place but a little on the pricy side. Like the fact that their were couples/ friends and different groups of people. Go, you will not be disappointed.

My husband and I visited Ruxbin on an anniversary trip. We LOVED everything Ruxbin had to offer from the popcorn to the pork belly to the hangar steak. My husband has declared the hangar steak as the best meal he has ever eaten. Highly recommend!! We cannot wait to go back!

We had a group of 5 with a gluten intolerant and a vegan... We all agreed that it had been our best meal out since Paris! The venison was like nothing I have tasted before, and the garlic fries are an addicting treat. Way to go!!!

I wasn't blown away by the meal here but it was still satisfying. The real allure of the place is the great value with BYO and no corkage fee. This allows you to have a pretty good dinner that is easy on the wallet. The signature hanger steak was the best thing we ate.
