We were walking around trying to find breakfast near the hotel. Wildberry’s seemed very packed so we settled on this place. Had TVs and it was week one of college football so what the hey. Wouldn’t recommend this place. First, the hostess tried to sit us in a booth that was basically being blocked by a table of probably around... More

Hyatt concierge sent us here, good choice for lunch. Nice club sandwich and a Belgian-style ale on tap, can't ask for more than that for a quick lunch.

We stumbled upon this location as we were exploring. There was a game playing so the inside was packed and the noise level was extremely high. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately outside surrounded by lush plantings. We had delicious bloody marys and a good lunch.

The food is very good , reasonably priced , and there is an extensive array of beers. There is outside dining on the side a bit removed from Michigan Avenue. There are lush plantings banking the patio. The space is pretty but the chairs are not comfortable. The inside restaurant is pretty light and airy. Wait staff are efficient and... More

My husband and another couple went on 8/31. We all had different menu items. Salmon, Ahi tuna wrap, quesadilla, and a bowl of chowder. I could only take a few bites of my $17.99 salmon. Cold, and over done. We only all just ate the food because we were hungry. I am not able to recommend this resturant at all.

My husband and I had just arrived in Chicago for a conference and were looking for a place for lunch close to our hotel while we were waiting for our room. The concierge suggested Sweetwater, which was an excellent choice. The weather was nice, so we asked for a table outside. A great place to soak up the Chicago vibe... More

During an afternoon of shopping along Michigan Avenue that followed a morning of exploring Grant Park, we were looking for a place to sit that offered up cold beverages and snack. And there was Sweetwater. Sitting outside we were able to take a breather from our activities, enjoy a couple adult beverages and sample a few appetizers. As Chicago is... More

This is my second time eating at Sweetwater. The first time was a couple of years ago when I was in Chicago for business. This time was a family trip. It has a great atmosphere both inside and out. Patio sitting is nice and indoor seating is good if you want to watch some sports. They have some unique items... More

We enjoyed a nice meal in this place. Fine inside and outside. The chicken salad was a good choice and the burguers were well cooked.

This was our first meal in Chicago and it did not disappoint. Great tap selection and really good food. The hummus appetizer was delicious! Fresh sliced cucumber, tomato and the hummus recipe includes black bean. So good. Fresh tasting lettuce wraps and a hearty fiesta burger. If you are a bourbon drinker, you must try the Kentucky bourbon barrel ale.... More
