We stopped in for a late dinner and really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We had one of the flatbread pizzas and scotch eggs. Both were delicious. We did stop back in on a Friday night and spent some time at the bar and really enjoyed the variety of drinks and beers.

I am a carnivore and usually eat my steaks rare but I like to change it up once in awhile. The mushroom sliders are amazing and I seriously can't believe I'm saying this about a veggie burger. The main dish I had was the pasta special and the sauce was INCREDIBLE. I've never had anything like it and even though... More

We enjoyed our evening here. We started with some great cocktails --I had the wonderful gin-centered mix in War of the Roses, my partner the Sharpest Lives (Cachaça and Cider, among other ingredients). Both our cocktails (and particularly the Sharpest Lives) went very well with a half-dozen oysters and the creamy Sweet Corn Risotto (the rice nicely al dente, and... More

I've been to Sable many times for breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, just dessert, and just cocktails. There are things I love about it and things I'm not so fond of. As a bar, this place is absolutely tops. They have a huge selection of all kinds of alcoholic drinks and some excellent housemade bitters. They have a lot of very... More

Hi Lori, Thank you for your feedback. I'm glad you have some favorites here and I'm sorry you're not a fan of other items. We are "farm to table" so that means our menu changes at least four times a year. Which means fresh ingredients but sometimes a dish we love is replaced by another due to seasonality. So although... We've been here many times and all I can say is that there is no place else I would go for brunch! Get the 3 Cheese omelet (cheddar, swiss, cream cheese) with a side of hash browns and toast (I opt for the croissant) - it's delicious! I am lactose & tolerant and love this place because they have almond... More

Went to the Sable Kitchen and Bar for cocktails before heading to an event. Four cocktails and all very interesting. Flavors that I would have never put together but they worked really well. Nice atmosphere; not too loud on a Saturday afternoon. Worth a return trip.

We ate dinner here recently. Food was reasonable but nothing exceptional. Interesting place to share tapas-style dishes - brick chicken was particularly good. Wine list is somewhat limited.

Sable Kitchen & Bar was so unexpected and wonderful. Most restaurants in hotels are just ok but Sable is a Chicago restaurant not to be missed. The server was very helpful in explaining the size of each dish as some sharing plates are larger than others, she had really good recommendations and the food was perfectly paced throughout our dinner....
