This amazing little Turkish restaurant is a great find. From the hummus to the Baked Salt Encrusted Fish. I have also had 2 different salads, the chicken kabob and lamb kabob. I have gone there 4 weeks in a row. Their food is high quality, fresh and season to perfection.

Waited almost 55 min for our food (4 dishes). Two of the dishes were over cooked. The slow kitchen slaps the great taste right out of the meal. If this was for lunch, dinner must be a sleepover. Its a shame because their food is delicious and the lunch menu is very affordable. I hope they fix their problem. Their... More

Friendly neighborhood spot with good food, generous portions and very reasonable prices. We always end up with an extra meal for the following day with our leftovers. The seafood salad is very fresh and delicious. I've tried several of the kabobs and they are always excellent. The fresh bread is out of this world.

Since returning to Chicago after a wonderful visit to Turkey, I've been to Turquoise three times, for lunch, dinner with a friend, and with a group. The food is fabulous, the bread very tasty, and the lamb just out of this world. It seems that I'm working my way through the menu. It's a bit American(women servers), but enough flavors... More

We visited Turkey a few years ago and since then we have been searching in vain for genuine Turkish food. That search ended last night at Turquoise. Our Saturday night visit began with a warm greeting at the door. We were immediately struck by the wonderful smells of Turkish food...we could tell this place had promise! After being seated our... Tried going to dinner here and despite the fact that their website says they close at 11 pm on Thursdays and that we arrived at 9:50, we were ignored by 3 employees while waiting at the door until exactly 10:00 and told that they are now closed. Way to turn away new business. Never coming back.

I would only recommend going here if you want to be treated rudely at the door. I arrived at 9:45 was left waiting for a table for 20 minutes even though there were many open and then at 10:05 rudely told the kitchen was closed and that they didn't want my business. I can't speak on the food but the... More

Probably some of the best Turkish food in the city. We had a reservation, however when we showed up there was some confusion and staff was almost rude, once the staff cleared things up we were seated. It took over 15 minutes for our waitress to address the table, very little English. We ordered a mix of everything and all... More

We were with our son and his family and our daughter, walking in their neighborhood in Chicago and looking for a place for lunch. We were wandering down Roscoe when we spotted the Turquoise Cafe and decided to give it a try. Part of the appeal was the outdoor dining option as one of us was only 6 years old... More
