We were at Turquoise for the first time with a group planning to travel to Turkey in the next few weeks. I wasn't sure what to except and was delighted. The restaurant is relatively small, warm and cozy. The service was excellent. Our server caught the spirit and was so helpful in assuring we had authentic Turkish food. We were... More

as others have commented , the cozy space feels European and the cooking is consistent, refined and authentic. We have dined at Turquoise Cafe numerous times and it is always a most pleasant experience. I cannot think of anything we have ordered that wasn't perfectly cooked and delicious. The chef obviously sources from high quality purveyors and the vegetables that... More

We went there for lunch for the first time and the food was delicious. It is a very pleasant restaurant with good service. Note that street parking is not easy to find.

Very cute neighborhood Turkish café. It's a busy place on a Saturday night. My boyfriend & I were lucky & were able to squeak in around 7pm. The service was fantastic and everything we ate was very good. The bread and 'dip', a yummy, creamy, tangy carrot based concoction was delish. We had two appetizers: the grilled calamari and the... Chicago's population is composed of many different and diverse ethnic groups, making it one of the most culturally diverse cities across the nation. What's a better way to experience a culture than by eating its delicious, unique, and maybe even outrageous, cuisine?... More
