We visited Havana while vacationing in Chicago. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fantastic. The pulled pork and halibut was delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I ordered a simple dish of carne asada after being overlooked by the wait staff for 30 minutes. To my horror I looked at this piece of meat swimming in a gloppy watery mess of rice and beans. The beans were hard and inedible the rice was just floating around.YUK! My friend order a great sounding menu item of pulled... More

My wife and I are fans of Cuban food. Unfortunately, we live in Michigan and there are few, of any Cuban restaurants. On a recent trip to Chicago, we found Havana. The Mojitos and Sangria were excellent and the Cuban pork was a delight. There was a smoky undertone to the beans and rice that made them complex and flavorful.... More

I was a bit suspicious that it was so easy to get a reservation on a Saturday night, and the restaurant was indeed never quite full. But I was pleased. The clientele was mostly 20-30-somethings, as was the staff. There were plenty of servers, and our waiter seemed to appear at the time we needed him. I'm no connoisseur of... More

Mojitos and Ceviche to toast receiving Chinese visa. Server had the rare talent of appearing exactly when needed, drinks were exceptional (a good mojito is hard to find), and the cevice was succulent. We were so taken with the place that we stayed for desert and espresso.

We popped in for just some small plates & drinks, and it was fabulous! We sat at the bar & gabbed a little with our server. I was introduced to caipirinhas, which are apparently THE drink of Brazil. Mighty tasty!

Small and loud with average Latin food and service. We started with mojitos which were supposed to be a specialty. They were just okay. We had the Havana pulled pork and paella which weren't exceptional. Maybe because the restaurant was crowded, it seemed as if our server was rushing us.

The food was great. Only downside is that this place gets so packed with groups of people that want to drink, that it makes the place loud and too crowded to have a quiet dinner. If you don't mind a loud atmosphere, then it would be fine for you. I could barely hear my family speaking. The steak dinner is... More

Stumbled upon this place while researching restaurants for a date night with the wife. The food was excellent and drinks were mixed perfectly.
