Having always heard about the dedication and care that's committed by the staff of Xoco - it was even better to try the food. Casual atmosphere that serves beyond my expectations.

Solid chick and shrimp sandwiches but the shrimp sandwich was unbearably spicy. The pickled veggies were the culprit. Luckily Raul took note and re-made the sandwich without the veggies which made it much better. Raul came over later to say he tried the veggies and they were too spicy that evening. Overall a great and relatively quick and inexpensive dinner.

Went to Xoco Wicker Park . Was looking forward to it but was so disappointed ! The lunch menu is limited . We asked for the breakfast /brunch menu but we're told we were too late . Waiter never smiled once. He did not like the fact that we did not order drinks !! He displayed Quite a snooty attitude... More

Our group had tortas, cubain sandwich, churros, and hot chocolate. Great quality. Often crowded but the line moves at a good pace. Good selection of local craft beers and soft drinks. Looking to try Wicker Park location.

I have been wanting to go here forever and try their churros. They lived up to their hype. I did order the chocolate dipping sauce but decided they actually tasted better without it. The aztec hot chocolate was a little spicy and a perfect accompaniment.

The huevos rancheros and Aztec Coco here were insanely great! I'll be back here tomorrow for breakfast again. The staff is incredibly efficient and gracious.

Instead of waiting in line at the Gold Coast locale, travel a bit further afield to the Wicker Park branch. There are several good Mexican places in the area, but this one had a killer beer list, an amazing menu, and we feasted like kings for $50. On a hot day, the raspberry mint margarita was just the drink I... More

We found this place by accident while walking along Clark. The food is fresh and tasty and the atmosphere is great. They prepare the food in an open hectic lively kitchen. The only thing that could have been better was if the waiters took your order from the table rather than you having the queue to order. They were also... More

Highly recommend if you like Rick Bayless. The pork sandwich in the soup broth was delicioso. Excellent fresh guacamole. Get there early. Or stand in line.

If you want a Great Meal for a reasonable price I would highly recommend any of Rick Bayless restaurants. Xoco specializes in sandwiches and soups, or like we got a combo. See pic. We have been to his other restaurants also and every time it has been a outstanding Mexican delight. Must go if in Chicago and want something other... More
