It's fast food that is not made to order, and very very hot. So if you are like me, and can't handle the extreme heat of indian food, I would not recommend this place. Even with the yogurt chutney, it's still way too hot. But if you can take the heat, then definitely visit this place as the people are... More

Recently visited Chutney Joes, the taste quality has gone down. Indian food served here is American version (not spicy as Indian food) to cater the people. I have been here many times in 2009/2010 at that time the food was really good. The Palakh paneer(Spinach cottage cheese) used to be very good but it is not that good now. The... More

This chain makes good quality, pre-prepared Indian food for reasonable prices. This is a great option for vegetarians.

Won't win any points on atmosphere, but the food was hot, tasty, and inexpensive. The South Loop is painfully low on good restaurants; stop here instead of hunting.

This place despite what you hear is a Indian fastfood place. They serve naans, kebabs, dahls, several different kormas, and pork vindaloo (weird). I got the lamb stew combo and it was OK. I gave it a 7/10. Food not spicy. Sort of watered down taste. AVOID IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A REAL INDIAN EXPERIENCE

This place is the best as in Chicago. I frankly love it more than sit down Indian restaurants. This is a fast food type place and the food is delicious. It's also very clean and well decorated. I went there a few times and now it seems to be more the norm as I find myself just stopping in more... More
