We went here for breakfast after trying to find something open. This one was open, but loud. It was expensive. Food and service were very good. Original recipes. Wife had egg--benidicht, I had quiche. Egg was done just right. Quiche was extraordanary as well as the salad that came with it. We enjoyed the coffee. but..did I say it was... More

Had the octopus salade Niçoise and loved it. Most places are afraid to serve octopus, but they pulled it off. The poached egg was done right as well. They obviously take care to ensure quality in all their dishes, and don't have filler dishes on their menu.

We had brunch at Jam on Friday this past weekend, and found it to be a cute, quaint place to eat. Very New York like.......it was small and crammed into a tiny space, but they have definitely made the most of the limited space. The food was amazing, however, the service was terrible - and by that I mean -... More

We were looking for a lavish Sunday brunch and based on our reading Jam offered it. It was quite a distance from the main part of Chicago and when we got there, we were told all items were a la carte. The hostess was nice enough to make it up to us by ordering the French toast which they're known... More

After seeing all the glowing reviews I was excited to try this place out. Wow, I was really disappointed....had the "world famous" french toast....I can make better, no seriously, I can do MUCH better. Bacon on the side consisted of a half dozen inch long burnt strips and scraps....really....but the raspberry coffeecake was real good. Again, I can make that... More

This pretty little spot in Logan Square (easily reached by the Blue Line, for those of you visiting the city) is only open for breakfast and lunch. The decor inside is modern airy and pretty, the staff pleasant and the food amazing. When the weather cooperates there is a little patio overlooking a leafy boulevard. Food is consistently good, but... More

Expect to wait for a table at this popular week-end brunch spot in Logan Square. Tables are a bit close together but the decor is tasteful and appealing. Service was excellent. I took the waiter's suggestion and tried their signature french toast dish which was fabulous. Although there was a wait to be seated, once seated, service was efficient. Highly... More

By far the best brunch in Chicago. Ate there twice and each time the food was amazing. Good food and good coffee. The french toast is not to be missed.

Most restaurants don't take brunch seriously, just a cup of coffee between breakfast and lunch. But Jam is all about brunch, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. not including Wednesday. Located at 3057 West Logan Boulevard in the Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood, Jam is operated by chef Jeffrey Mauro, who used to work at Charlie Trotter's and North Pond. He... More
