Good Food

Stopped by for lunch on our first day in Chicago, a Thursday about 2pm. There were maybe 3 other people in the restaurant and the hostess tried to seat us right next to someone at one of those strip tables, you know the one with a long bench on one side, a chair on the other side and tables every... read more

Probably the best hotel restaurant I've been too! Cocktails were delicious, beer tasted fresh, and food was awesome! Definitely a highlight of our trip :)

We are staying at The Wit and had breakfast here. It was great. Prices around 15-18 dollars but it's not a buffet. Service was great. Can't wait to go back.

We usually do go to a hotel we're not staying to eat, but this place got really good reviews so we decided to check it out. For starters, the coffee is really good. I had the beef and cheddar omelet that has pot roast inside. It was really delicious! The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. It was... More

LOVED the live music on Sat night, that it stays open late, and easy to get to from anywhere in the city. Also, fantastic drinks, and the food is good. Get a corner booth to enjoy people watching too!

This is the 2nd time I have had a chance to eat here! Great food, changing menu's, great beers, nice wine selection! The food was awesome, we had three different apps, and drinks - service was OK, not what you would expect or what I experienced previously. (Thursday night). I would go again, in spite of the service, which is... More

I was there during the St Patrick's Day celebrations and found the place by accident. Good burger, good bar service, and the had a small quiet alternative rock group play in the front that added to the experience, yet did not distract the ability to have a conversation. I liked it very much for just a small place that isn't... More

We stayed at the Wit Hotel and came here twice. Once for dinner and drinks, and the next day for lunch. Both times we really enjoyed our food, and at lunch there was a guitar player who sang and was very entertaining. The poutine and charcuterie plate were both delicious and good for sharing.

So after numerous looks for a burger joint we stumbled across this. Definitely difficult to find during St. Patty's day weekend. Well stored away in The Wit hotel is this restaurant. The entrance is actually to the left after getting into the hotel. It is nice that if the wait is long they will text you when your table is... More

We stayed at the Wit Hotel, and opted to eat at the restaurant attached to the hotel, rather than go out. Great move. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. We sat at a table in front of a TV screen featuring a fireplace, which instantly made us feel at home. The waitstaff was attentive, and our drinks were frequently replenished.... More
