This was one of the best meals I've had in Chicago - and that is saying a lot! The food was incredible. Fresh and tasty - especially the pork belly. Wow! Sushi and fish dishes were delicious and fresh. The scene was very lively - excellent for friends or a date - it was the perfect volume in that you... More

Asian fusion fare that works! Between us we had the seafood curry bento box, kalbi wrap, red dragon sushi and the brussel sprout salad. The food was fresh and tasty. The bill was high for lunch and cost $140 after the tip (about $120 before). I would skip the melon ball drink - this is primarily water and isn't refreshing... More

Had a great time at Sunda restaurant. We had a group of 8 people (2 families, with 4 children). We had some great Asian staples like Korean bibimbap, Filipino adobo fried rice and pancit canton. The appetizers were also delicious - we had oxtail pot stickers and shared a grilled tuna and pork salad. Presentation was excellent, and the dishes... More

or their oxtail pot stickers, which my BF loved. The snow crab handroll would have been better with a ligher coating of the tempura crisps, was way overpowered by filling have the roll with the stuff as filler. The truffle mushroom brown rice was mostly salty with little other tastes to it to make it worth it's while, my meal... More

Chicago restaurants are jammed for brunch every Sunday morning -- strangely, not Sunda, and it's delicious. There are Asian offerings, suitable for breakfast, but there are classic American dishes, too, everything beautifully prepared.

Sunda is an amazing pan asian cuisine restaurant. From sushi to steamed buns - the food is AMAZING!! The service is very friendly and fun - not stuffy at all. The staff is super helpful and friendly - My friend was in a wheelchair, and they bent over backwards to make sure she was comfortable. 10/10. A must try for... More

We arrived early (5:30pm) for dinner as we had young grandchildren with us. The staff were very welcoming and very kind to the young ones. The service was timed just right and the food was excellent. We were given a free chef's table treat that was delicious. Strongly recommend the ginger tofu, the beef/lemongrass lollipops and the oxtail pot stickers.
