Farmer Market Style Meal

Food and ambiance is great here, as is the service. Not the quietest and you end up being in your neighbor's conversation if they are just a little loud! That being said, the grub is local, fresh and delicious, and their beer selection is huge!

We had BBQ carrots, charcuterie plate, pork chops and a fried plate that included clams, cheese curds and oysters. The charcuterie and fried plate were worth the price of admission. If you go, don't miss those. I was take it or leave it on the carrots & pork chops. The beer list is also impressive and the servers and tenders... More

We had a reservation for 8pm on a Monday evening. We arrived just before 8pm and there didn’t appear to be any free tables – we were very pleased we had reserved! We were seated straight away -- the restaurant has some smaller tables but we were seated on the corner of one of the large communal tables which was... More

A great buzzy place. This isn't for everyone as many people are on sharing tables but I liked it and we were positioned at the corner of a table so it made it easier for my partner and I to share our small dishes. The food was lovely. We were too full for dessert.

I visited The Publican with my mom in November 2014. We had a reservation, and we were promptly seated. The bad news: we massively over-ordered. The good news: I'm so glad we did, because everything we had was amazing and we took plenty with us. The beer list was fantastic, full of local and far flung options. I can't wait... More

Had very good brunch at the communal table. I thought the brunch was moderately priced and very tasty.

This restaurant does it right! We have been here 4 or 5 times in the last year, and we have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is very cool - the food is even better!!! Highlights: Barb's Fries, the Country Ribs, and the Waffle Dessert! We will keep going back.

Went for brunch again. They still have a quirky menu. Good bloody marys. Good chicken liver pate appetizer. I had a great open faced sandwich wit eggs, asparagus and proscuitto. I liked it better this time but still found little of interest on the menu.

Had a great brunch to celebrate FD. This place is fun, energetic and reasonable. Interesting menu items. Pork is the hero here and the booths have doors on them to resemble pens. The communal tables are good too. Not sure what it would be like with a full house but we liked it. Parking can be a challenge in Fulton... More
