My family and I ate dinner last week at the Publican on recommendations from locals. It was the best meal of our vacation. The good was sublime! Everything from the homemade delicious pork rinds to the suckling baby pig were out if this world. A real foody place with gastronomical tastes that explode with sheer delight in your mouth!

It's been sometime since I decided to walk to this kitschy restaurant from our hotel on the mile, maybe should have taken a cab through the majority of risky neighborhoods but its all what makes a memory last. You could hear the buzz of the crowd from a block away in this industrial neighborhood. What a vibe, great warm feeling, delicious... More

Went here for a special night out and hated it. First of all it's mostly communal seating. When I ditch the kids for a romantic night and make reservations I don't want to sit next to strangers. The place is also very loud. There is a large area for standing and eating and then every surface is hard so the... More

We had a friend take us here on a Saturday night so it was extermly busy to say the least. We waited inside with drinks for nearly two hours, but when the food arrived and hit your taste buds the memory of waiting disappeared. The menu can be daunting at first as it is not like any other, the unique... More

We made reservations for a Sunday night, and got a communal table (there are some non-communal tables as well). We came here because some friends who visited Chicago also came, and apparently this restaurant is recommended by chef Anthony Bourdain. The restaurant is decorated with large funny pictures of pigs, and the chairs have high backs. The communal tables remind... More

This was my favorite place we ate at in all of Chicago! Definitely for someone who isn't afraid to try new things - a menu for true foodies. We tried the charcuterie board, spicy pork rinds, strawberries with fava beans, and the porchetta - all amazing. I was sad when this meal was over!

We were seated at a table for two rather than at the communal tables, which we had requested. The service was excellent, there was a great selection of beers and the food was inventive and gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant seemed a little isolated, but the staff organised a taxi for us... More

I was in the Fulton Market area for an art exhibit that got canceled because it was pouring outside, so we decided to go in this place because it looked cool from outside. When we went in we were surprised how cool it actually was. We asked the hostess how long was the wait and she told us that it... More

My husband and I ate here for brunch last Fall and it was superb. The dishes were somehow imaginative yet homey and filling at the same time. A very difficult feat. I can't wait to to go back for dinner.
