We had a friend take us here on a Saturday night so it was extermly busy to say the least. We waited inside with drinks for nearly two hours, but when the food arrived and hit your taste buds the memory of waiting disappeared. The menu can be daunting at first as it is not like any other, the unique... More

We made reservations for a Sunday night, and got a communal table (there are some non-communal tables as well). We came here because some friends who visited Chicago also came, and apparently this restaurant is recommended by chef Anthony Bourdain. The restaurant is decorated with large funny pictures of pigs, and the chairs have high backs. The communal tables remind... More

This was my favorite place we ate at in all of Chicago! Definitely for someone who isn't afraid to try new things - a menu for true foodies. We tried the charcuterie board, spicy pork rinds, strawberries with fava beans, and the porchetta - all amazing. I was sad when this meal was over!

We were seated at a table for two rather than at the communal tables, which we had requested. The service was excellent, there was a great selection of beers and the food was inventive and gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish and the atmosphere was great. The restaurant seemed a little isolated, but the staff organised a taxi for us... More

I was in the Fulton Market area for an art exhibit that got canceled because it was pouring outside, so we decided to go in this place because it looked cool from outside. When we went in we were surprised how cool it actually was. We asked the hostess how long was the wait and she told us that it... More

My husband and I ate here for brunch last Fall and it was superb. The dishes were somehow imaginative yet homey and filling at the same time. A very difficult feat. I can't wait to to go back for dinner.

Nowadays when you go to a restaurant with friends, you order an appetizer and a main meal. The portions at Publican are so large, if you do that you wind up taking food home- not that it's a bad thing. Three of us shared the small charceuterie tray, then has the lamb, pancetta and pork chop, All were wonderful. Sitting... More

After a day tour of the Frank Lloyd Wright venues, we decided to try a recommendation in the meat packing district. We were early and made a reservation for 5:30 thru open table. We came and parked across the street. It didn't seem like anyone was going in but we went in. It is a very large room itch booths... More

Was here for dinner and had an amazing dining experience!! We had the cherry stone and oyster platter and it was just so fresh and delicious! I had the pork shank after for the main entree and it was even yummier!!! Juicy, thoroughly marinated and cooked to the tee so it's tender and not tough (falls right off the bone!).... More
