This cute little cafe is nothing fancy, but that adds to the charm. The vaca frita was EXCELLENT, the croquettas to-die-for and the chorizo empanada left me wanting more. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definately be going back as soon as I can!

I truly enjoyed my one experience at 90 Miles, but it is not at all what I expected. The restaurant is tiny and is basically glorified takeout. There is a counter with maybe eight seats inside, and there is a small courtyard area outside with seating for maybe 20-30 people, depending on how tight they are packed in. This was... More

We had driven past this cafe as we were helping our daughter and son-in-law move into their new house in Logan Square and saw that it was packed. Now that we've eaten there I understand why it is so popular. When we went there a couple of nights later we started with appetizers of empanadas and pork tamal. They were... More

We gave this place two tries...and I really want to like it because it's so close to home and I love Cuban food... unfortunately it just misses on a lot of what they try to do. The tostones were extremely bland (and so were the plantain chips served with my sandwich). Surely a Cuban restaurant will do its namesake justice,... More

Love this place but my last visit the service was horrible. The only person that tried hard to make thing right was the younger food runner. He tried to follow up on our order. My number one pet peeve is after being seated and waiting on tables after you. Should be first come first serve! Only one server and saw... More

What happened? I haven't been there was a couple of months. We usually go there for their excellent Cuban "breakfast" sandwich with the works. That means Swiss cheese, diced ham/onions and maduros. This "is" a hardy sandwich which can feed two people. A generous proportion of egg, ham, cheese and onion folded over. A thick slice of maduro goes on... More

I'm a vegetarian and had the best little empanadas and Yuca at this restaurant. It is really small but they have an outside patio area. Everything is made right when you order and even the deep fried items are not greasy at all.

Food was authentic, very reasonable cost & fantastic ambience with engaged workers. I will return regularly and will recommend to friends and family.

This cafe has two locations in Chicago. This review is for the cafe is located in one of Chicago's very old neighborhoods. The area, Roscoe Village, has become cutting edge and a highly desirable for both up scale small business commerce and family living. This is a genuine Cuban menu in a casual colorful atmosphere and a lot of fun.... More

We found this restaurant thru DDD so when my hubby and I stayed in downtown, we dropped by for a quick bite. We drove to the Armitage branch but after 4x driving around for parking, we gave up and drove to nearby Clyborne branch. This place is small but customers never stopped coming, more for pick up. The place is... More
