Been going here for several years - through a few locations - original owner returned to south america, selling the business to his chef and wife. they hold this place together with the BEST and most creative and authentic tapas. they have a printed menu. they have a hand written "specials" menu. a nd they have a verbal "special-special" menu... The staff and food were wonderful. It also is a BYOB which I love. It is a tapas menu so more people you go with the more food you try. The prices are very reasonable

My wife and I were attending a conference near O'Hare this week and wanted to get away from all the chain restaurants near the airport and luckily found Cafe Marbella. We love tapas, and have been to tapas restaurants many times in many different cities and this was among the best. The building is not quite what you'd expect, it's... More

We had the good fortune to visit Marbella twice in the past week. The first visit was with friends who own Eclisse Italian Cucina in Skokie. The second time was with our daughter who is a big fan of Tapas. She has enjoyed Tapas many times in Spain and here in the greater Chicago area. The food is absolutely incredible.... More

We've been dining at Cafe Marbella at least every few months for the last few years. The food is outstanding, and it's BYOB which makes it affordable. We always try something new, but always go back to our favorites: mussels in salsa verde - incredibly delicious sauce! Bacon wrapped figs in brandy cream sauce - we order it for dessert... More

Great food is packing this place. So they need to hire another server or 2. Being Tapas if you order all at once food could come all at once or one hear or there. I dont like the all at once so I ordered 2 items at a time. While good plan not so good because it was not the... More

We have been here twice since we discovered it two months ago and plan to return very soon. The tapas are amazing and there is enough of a selection for all tastes. My personal favorite is the Figs with bacon in a cream sauce....I swear I dream of them for days before and after my visit. If you are lucky... More

The Beef Wellington alone is worth the visit - already thinking of going back. The creme brulee and ceviche were also outstanding. Only food issue was the lobster dish was too salty. We had 4 tapas - which seemed to be the perfect amount for 2 people and shared a dessert (creme brulee). The total bill was $66 - so... More

Overpriced at $8-$10 per dish for tapas, crowded seating right on one another, minimal decor and tiled floors make it feel like a nice bathroom more than a nice restaraunt. The food was unimpressive being all garlic and oil or just bland. I thought Red Lobster served the smallest shrimp, I found out I was wrong after a few dishes... More
