The food is OK and also quite authentic (have travelled in Peru 2 months). But service was strange - had us wait first unnecessarily, then only brought out one appetizer (although the other one was cold), then had the mains ready far too early. What I really don't like and don't understand in many places in the US: they seem... More

I came to this restaurant by accident while looking for another restaurant that ended up being closed. I figured I would try it and I was delighted by the flavors, the variety of the choices, the portions, the staff's assistance with my selections and how frequently they came to see if we needed anything else or to check if the... I really wanted to like this place, and have given it a few chances, but it is really dreadful. Rios d'Sudamerica is an odd place that has no idea what to be. It has an odd decor, poor service and marginal food. The poor service can be explained by a staff that seems nervous. Once when we were there, they... More

I love their Sunday buffet. Great variety. Just be patient, they rarely start on time. If you don't know Peruvian or South American food this a great place to start.

This restaurant is a good find. The food was delicious. We ordered, Arroz con Mariscos, Sudado de Mariscos, Chicken soup and Lomo Saltado, This last one I got to say the meat was overcooked therefore...HARD. I think that, this can be improved, the flavor is there. As an appetizer we had the Yuca Frita with this amazing secret sauce. And... More

Went late afternoon between lunch and dinner hours. Ordered the fried plantains, pisco sour, mango salad, and lomo saltado for 2 people. Everythins was great, the salad was very sweet though. If you get the salad, ask for dressing on the side. The lomo saltado was the second best place I have ever had it at. (D.C. - Laureal Plaza... More

The food was absolutely wonderful! The service excellent! Asked the waitress for recommendations which she gladly gave from the heart and not from the price point, which was a plus. The food she recommended, based on a few questions, was assume! Will definitely return.

The food was delicious. I had Papa a la Huancaina for an appetizer, and ordered a typical Peruvian dish, Loma Saltada al Pisco, that consisted of stir-fried chicken, potatoes, tomatoes, and onions with rice. The Pisco sours were excellent, too. Service could have been faster as the place was a little more than half full when I ate dinner. I... More

Since my first visit was awesome I was thrilled to see an offer on You Swoop. $20 for $40 of food. My best friend and I went on a Sunday night. It was not very busy and there was no valet service and street parking in that area can be tricky. We were late for our reservation because it took... More

If you like Peruvian food, you will love this place. Very authentic and large portions. Wait staff informed and helpful. We had the Lomo Saltado and Arroz Chaufa de Carne. Both very tasty. We will be back.
