Been to several IC locations and always been impressed. Great care taken in the brewing process whether for coffee or tea, (and a great tea selection!). Baked goods are pretty tasty.

These guys know there stuff, they actually travel around the USA to teach other coffee joints how to properly brew, you won't find a better place to drink away your troubles. We sat outside at the nice tables, and sipped coffee and enjoyed a selection of pastries they have on hand. (Not super kid friendly, no changing table anywhere in... More

I found the coffee to be strong, bitter, and not very hot. The prices were higher than other places closer to our hotel. The staff were very nice.

Yes, the coffee's great, we didn't dare try anywhere else after we found this place. But the ham and cheese croissant! I wish I could have that everyday!

Cappuccino and pastry very nice, however perhaps a little over priced. Staff was not exactly friendly that's why only 4 points.

The coffee is incredible and the pastries are delicious. I had a ham and cheese croissant which was amazing. My only regret was waiting until our last day in Chicago to visit this place! Highly recommended.

Excellent coffee and cool, chill vibe. Somewhat italian feeling with the counter seating and way they craft their beverages. Didn't give the full five stars because the food choices, while delicious, are limited to mostly a selection of pastries. A little fresh fruit or one egg offering would earn 5 stars from me, but if you're just going for a... More

I'm a native of the Pacific NW who lives in New England, and my time in Chicago is usually a brief overnight between trains as I'm a railfan. It is now my habit to stop by Intelligentsia Coffee at least once every time I pass through Chicago. You can get a perfect pour-over here. You will see a coffee menu... More

I highly recommend the Angeleno iced coffee beverage....amazing. The croissants are top notch as well. The Randolph Street is a great place to stop after an early morning visit to Millennial Park.

This place is incredible. I'm reviewing it again in more detail. Seriously one of the best coffee you'll ever have, whether it's an espresso, macchiato, cappuccino, mocha, even hot chocolate, etc. The coffee is made meticulously, and the baristas are obviously professional. I mean look at their beards, clothes, glasses, etc. I tried many different types of cappuccino in here.... More
