It does not matter which location you go to, the coffee is superb, the service is fast and friendly and the pastries are delicious. Make this your first stop everyday!

Intelligentsia is the best, period. The best coffee, the best tea, perfectly prepared. For breakfast or a break, they have excellent fresh baked items. I love the buckwheat scones.

Great coffee in a nice environment. My husband was so excited about visiting Intelligentsia when we vacationed in Chicago. He was not disappointed, and I enjoyed it too. We picked up a few bags of beans to take home with us - FruitBat Espresso is very good stuff.

One of the many great pleasures of visiting Chicago is enjoying a cappuccino or brewed coffee at Intelligentsia. Although business at the shop is always bustling, that doesn't prevent staff from providing excellent customer service with a smile. And Intelligentsia's roasted coffee beans are a treasure to take home even for someone from a city well-known for its coffee like... More

Had the best cappuccino ever and Intelligentsia near Logan Square. What's especially nice is that the music was soft, the service was extremely friendly, and everyone was working or reading instead of loudly talking.

After reading all the rave reviews for this place, we had to give it a try. My wife is a coffee shop nut, so she was excited to try it, but left disappointed. The atmosphere was hip & eclectic, but that was about it. The coffee was average at best & not worth the money or hype. Maybe it was... More

Excited by the rave reviews, cute decor, and heart in my cappuccino foam, I found the coffee incredibly bitter and not very hot. Scone was fine but nothing to write home about. Will spend my 7.25$ elsewhere tomorrow.

If I make it to Intelligentsia during my trips to Chicago there is never a question of where my best cup of joe came from. I recommend getting it to go unless you are a coffee shop hipster. I'm a 50-something and feel a little old for the atmosphere, but am never disappointed with the coffee quality

My friend and I came here because we knew the coffee would be great. They were having a special on Flat Whites due to the NZ All Blacks being in the city. Coffee was lovely, but the setting seemed too uptight, too stuffy for my taste. So my friend and I grabbed our coffee and went along our way.

Sitting at the bar & having my excellent latte & a good Floriole Buckwheat scone, I watched the special drip coffee being made was fascinating as the barista Chris measured out the specific coffees that had been ordered & had them on timers as to the water pouring slowly in a circular methodical way. I tried one of the special... More
