We happened upon this place while looking for good coffee in Chicago. Someone at the Art Institute recommended it with directions to this location. As it wasn't far from our hotel, we decided to walk over and check it out. The menu is streamlined and much better for it. I had a soy latte and haven't tasted one that rich... More

My cousin and I visited the coffee shop 3 times during our time here and it was perfect every time. I do not drink coffee but their tea and hot chocolate were excellent. Tea and coffee are treated as an art form.

Modern clean coffee shop. Comes with well dressed professional baristas. Ordered a small latte and it was delicious. Best latte in Chicago so far. I only visit the downtown area once a year but this is a nice stop worth the walk. Check it out!

This place is totally quiche. I mean, is it hipster? Sure. But you know what? They're NICE hipsters, and they serve great coffee. Coffee prices are reasonable given the labor-intensive process by which they brew (really. I have never seen a barista look at coffee grounds so seriously in my life.). If you have the time and can take the... More

We stopped in on our recent stop to Chicago and were definitely not disappointed. The cold brew coffee is the best I've ever had! The inside is super cute and trendy, and is super fun!

By far some of the best coffee I have had in my life. Even if you have had it before outside of Chicago, you have to try it in the city. My city brews Intelligentsia and it is far from what you can get in Chicago, you'll be hooked.

(This review is for the Old Town branch of Intelligentsia Coffee) Before I flew from Houston, my coffee-savvy friends insisted me to try out Intelligentsia. Although I had a great coffee experience at Boston's North End, I was still not a huge coffee fan. However, my prospective on coffee has definitely changed after my first trip to Intelligentsia. I was... More

Excellent expresso coffee and is pretty much on par with the good coffee places in Sydney and Melbourne. The milk temperature is perfect and the froth is smooth and fine. It is so nice to not have burnt coffee beans or burnt milk. The baristas made their coffee with love!

This review is for Intelligentsia next to Plum Market in Old Town. The service was very good and curteous. There is outside seating that is nice and on a lively street where you can people watch. The hot chocolate is quite good, it comes in a big cup and is nice and creamy. The cappuccino is excellent, and properly made... More
