Best of the chain!

This is my personal favourite of the many Intelligentsia's in Chi-town. They are much more welcoming and helpful here! The coffee is great at all of the stops though!

We stopped in here on a rainy day after visiting the Art Institute. Yes, there is a "hipster vibe" as some have said. However, my tween, teen, and I felt welcome. The person taking our order was patient and helpful. We tried a coffee, a cappuccino, and hot chocolate. All were fantastic. The hot chocolate was especially rich and delicious,... More

We stopped here on a chilly morning and had a nice coffee to start our day. They also have WiFi and offer pastries if you need a small breakfast. The cranberry scone was good.

We used to live in Chicago and my fiance loved Intelligentsia, said it might be his favourite coffee in the world. Now we stop by each time we visit, and no matter how much we build it up in our memories they still manage match our expectations! Great coffee and for me, delicious foamy hot chocolate. Keep it up Intelligentsia!

When it comes to coffee, I'm extremely difficult to please. I am an amateur coffee roaster and am fanatical about fresh, perfectly prepared coffee. In the U.S. Starbucks has become the monster brand but really does not have the best coffee by a long shot for many reasons. Their flavor profile is based on a very dark roast which is... More

Bustling coffee shop in the cold weather. Really good coffee. Their chai latte is spicy and warming. The place was busy, but service was quick and friendly. Definitely worth a stop for morning coffee.

I love artisanal coffee and this was great. I had a cortado, with the standard black cat espresso beans. Perfectly served and cute rosette on top. The vibe urban industrial and clean. The staff friendly and really efficient. Loved it.

Hands down, the best coffee we had in Chicago. I had a soy latte and the ham and cheese breakfast croissant. Pastry was flaky and buttery, infused with the ham flavours. The latte was rich and silky, perfect for a rainy morning. So good we went back and bought 3 lbs of beans to bring home.

Had a couple of excellent vanilla lattes. Staff was very friendly but ordering was a little complicated. Limited seating as well. We had to stand and drink our coffee.
