Rock hard edges, literally crumbling as if to be very stale. Lack of flavor and way over priced. The place is very cute, uncomfortable seating.

On our walking tour of Chicago, we stumbled across Molly's Cupcakes. We stopped in and enjoyed 3 varieties of cupcakes - we took a sampling of what was suggested as the server's favorites. The cupcakes were great, tasty - and the coffee was good too. Worthwhile coming back to. And on the way out we saw that President Obama and... More

This place is interesting and the menu looks fantastic. Maybe I'm just not a cupcake freak but I've had cupcakes at home that were as good or better than this. We bought one cupcake to try...the Creme Brulee...there was very little filling and cake was nothing special. I was really expecting some wow here for one cupcake that cost me... More

Family planned downtown Holiday visit and Zoo Lights in Lincoln Park was on the agenda....we ate at an Italian restaurant nearby then walked to Molly's Cupcakes. We were so excited to try......but were all pretty disappointed...there is cup cake place about 5 miles from our home that really blows us away (Couture Cupcakes)..,,,.we expected that Mollys Cupcakes....having been a Cup... Um...yum. That's about all I need to say. The cupcakes were huge and delicious. The only cupcake that wasn't the best, was a birthday cake cupcake, it seemed runny or something in the middle, which was disappointing bc it was for my daughter on her birthday and she didn't like it much, and ended up eating mine. Overall pretty good.

I visited Molly's for the first time when visiting Chicago. I went on a Saturday and the place was packed, to me that's a sign that it's a good place. I got a chocolate cupcake(I know so traditional). The cake was so moist and delicious. I would not say it was the best cupcake I ever had but it was good.... More

This place is amazing. They have so many different types of cupcakes. They have a flavor for everyone and they are so nice there.

Very tasty cupcakes with many flavors to choose from. I like this place more than Magnolia in New York, but haven't tried Springkle Cupcake in SF yet. Anyway, all the cup cake I tried are very good to excellent. My favorite is peach flavor which is very unique, only slightly sweet, and balance in flavor.

I visit Chicago a lot and stay in Lincoln Park-Lakeview area. I've been to Molly's a few times more to pick up a cupcake for my grandson. I've had their cupcakes myself but can't say that they are the best. The cake itself is not bad but it's not great either. It's pretty average to me. I guess what makes... More

I was a at a bar by Molly's who was passing out cupcakes. I had one of these decadent cupcake by Molly's and I was in heaven. It was moist, flavorful and delicious. Try it out next time you are in the neighborhood. Its comparable to Georgetown cupcakes... maybe better. ;X
