Authentic style, great service, great taste

My husband and I visited here for our lunch and ordered the buffalina pizza. We should have ordered two! Every ingredient was special and the pizza was cooked to perfection in a 900 degree oven. Friendly service as well!

Great crust, good tomatoes and mozzarella. The Restaurant is clean has character (good ambiance) and good service . We like their basic pizzas, but would not recommend the sausage and rapini one, as the quality of the sausage is not par with the quality of the other ingredients.

Being an Italian living in Chicago I hear constantly about "Hey! Have you tried this wonderful pizza place?" ... and I have heard about Spacca Napoli from many people. My wife and I decided then to try it. We went there one Friday night and the place was easy to find. Parked outside and entered. The restaurant is really nice... More

My brother-in-law grew up the son of Italian immigrants. His taste of Italian food is somewhat different from ours as a result. Pizza to him is considerably different from that which we were weened on. However.......This place is a wonderful exception......We had the Funghi e Salsiccia and it was very good. They also have 3 popular Italian beers available. AND.......If... More

You never are too old to improve your knowledge of any subject and enhance your education. I learned that once again when I read that Spacca Napoli was listed among the 38 essential Chicago restaurants in a 2014 survey by Chicago Eater. Spacca Napoli, opened in 2006 at 1769 West Sunnyside between Ashland and Damen and north of Montrose, is... More

THIS is what a real pizza is meant to be like! I am a huge pizza enthusiast and try to eat one in every city I visit. So during my first trip to Chicago, I asked the concierge where to go to, he recommended Spacca Napoli. I am happy I listened to him. Everything was perfect, the crust, the sauce... More

Having grown up in Chicago I have had many a pie in my time. I went here with friends and my wife. We started with Antipasto Misto and the Poplo Grigriato. The cold cuts on the Antipasto Misto were good but not exactly top of the line. This was especially true of the Prosciutto. The cheese was a much stronger... More

If you're looking for authentic style Chicago deep dish pizza, keep on looking because this is not it. If you your looking for authentic, super tasty napolitean thin crust pizza, this is your spot. The pizza is first rate. Everytime I go here, I literally want to try everything on the menu. The non-pizza dishes and wine selections are also... More

And it was just as delightful as the first time. Six of us shared an appetizer made with eggplant, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella followed by three varieties of pizza. Everything was delicious and then we got desserts which were also fabulous. The tartufo, panna cotta, and tiramisu never disappoint. I will be sad when I no longer have a reason... More
