Menu had a nice selection of Italian ingredients (tartufo, mozzarella di bufalo, etc) cook in a wood fired oven. Well worth the trip.

Our Italian friends first told us about the restaurant. The pizzas are just like the ones we had in Italy, super thin crust. They are personal sized. (maybe 6 in?). Everything we had was tasty. I've had lots of tiramisu but I think this was the best I've eaten. Will be back there for sure!

A+ ingredients makes this my favorite Neopolitan pizza place in the country ...or at least on my top 5 list. Everything they do, they make perfectly and cook with love and respect. The same staff has been there for years which is always a great sign and the owner proudly pops around the floor with a smile. Do not miss... More

...to any other grape in the world. That's the description of one of the wine choices on the wine menu. How could we pass that up? We weren't disappointed. The red was the color of molasses and had a very rich, full-bodied taste. The different pizzas and the mozzarella with crusty bread were good. I wasn't doing the ordering and... More

We were looking for a place where to eat a good italian pizza and after viewed all the positive reviews we end in this restaurant. The pizza was really good and tasty, and I also reccomend to order some appetizer. The place is not in the centre of Chicago but you can easly get there.

Great pizza but order more than you think. Pizzas are not Hugh so you will want more. We had four in our party and had 3 pizzas. Not enough. Every person should have their own. A bit loud but what place isn't. Will go back.

This is my absolute favorite pizza place in Chicago. I've traveled to many regions of Italy, including Naples and this pizza is authentic as it gets. The crust is spot on as is the homemade sauce. They also have a fantastic mozzarella appetizer with prosciutto that is great! It's nice to finally be able to get authentic Italian pizza close... More

If you are a local or a visitor to Chicago, Spacca Napoli is a must have! I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and I have tried possibly every Brick Oven pizza restaurant in the city and Spacca Napoli is hands down the BEST!... The oven itself was built by artisans who traveled into Chicago from Italy. The owner, John is... More

One of our favorite summer restaurants. I have never really minded waiting for an outside table. They have benches set up around the restaurant that are very comfortable and wine service while you are waiting....not a bad way to get an evening gathering started among friends. They always have servers. The pizzas are definitely Napolitano style which can be a... More

Unfortunately - the pizza at Spacca Napoli - is slightly worse than okay - very poor crust - messily thrown together - and rather flavorless. There are those who will refute that one who doesn't like the pizza here - simply doesn't understand what a Neapolitan pizza is. Not true. Bad is bad - anywhere in the world. There's little... More
