Great neopolitan pizza...real authentic, real good, real fresh They have a nice variety of pizzas and apps.
Great place for pizza in Ravenswood area of Chicago. Street dining or make a reservation to get a table. Just pizza, wine and espresso (no Americano coffee). And don't try to talk to anyone. The noise level is extremely high. Want to talk? Sit outside.
Been fans of this place since it opened years ago. The pizza is authentic. Creative options for the toppings but still love their margarita pizza the best. Recently they increased the size of the pie which is good. Usually get the buffalo mozzarella appetizer. Just wish they'd add Chianti to the wine list.
I always thought the good Chicago pizza was deep dish, and now I know the city also has great Napolitan pizza as well. We loved our meal and the service and the atmosphere. It was worth a 20 minute wait on a Friday night at 9. The three of us devoured the following - I'll skip the adjectives because everything... More
I didn't find it that great, I'm probably too picky about pizza since I'm from italy. And the service was not good, this guy was probably second generation and wanted to speak Italian or something, but we couldn't understand anything. You know, if my English is better than your Italian, just speak English
The pizza, as promised by our friends, was delicious, with an authentic thin, chewy-but-soft and yeasty crust. It's a rare encounter. We also had this huge buffalo mozzarella appetizer ( served with crackers). My pizza, with 2 pieces to take home, was mushroom and was delicious. A friend had the margarita with fresh mozzarella and basil - also delicious. Everyone... More
Well, I've been twice recently, and I'm thinking about the next time I can go. First of all, it really is hopping on the weekends, so if you want a table right away, come at lunch or on a weeknight. Lots of outdoor seating on a quiet street, too. Menu is pretty simple - mostly pizza (what else are you... More
I am not a deep dish fan but love pizza. We were taken to this place by some family friends and when I heard they were taking us for pizza my heart sunk expecting another deep dish outing, but I left a happy man. This is pure unadulterated Neapolitan style pizza served with great wine, what more could I ask... More
I loved this place. Food, service, decor, and location are great. Go, eat, and enjoy. Bring a group with you to multiply your enjoyment.
July 2010 American Airlines magazine featured Spacca Napoli. I don't know why it took me 3 years to try it out. We got proscuiotto and daviola. Excellent choices to share. I cannot wait to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. You can dine al fresco, just may have to wait some. They do take reservations. Take brown line to Montrose, walk... More
