AMAZING / SHOCKING

This is one of the most amazing meals of our life. While the full 8 course (with gifts making it 12 course) and the wine flights was too much food and drink for us - the taste sensation in a remarkable setting are a once in a lifetime experience. Once in a lifetime as this is the most shocking... read more

What a disappointment!! Had their Four Course fixed price dinner. The amuse Bouche of soybean panacotta was tasteless. Next shavings of foie gras was good but no value or anything special about it. Next course we shared both-precivil war rice and country ham way way too salty. Barley with escargots was disappointing too. Next was ribeye with sweetbreads which was... More

There is a little area of about 6 tables or so at the very end of Sixteen that has awesome views. We went up to just have a drink and catch the amazing architectural view before dinner (sort of used it as a happy hour). This is a good way to experience Sixteen. If you like beer, the prices of... This was not the first two or three star Michelin restaurant we've eaten at and yet it still surpassed expectations. Food was delicious and inventive. Presentation was inspired. The idea of telling a story or having a journey as an underlying theme to the whole night was fun. Th service and information provided by the staff was great. Expect to... More

We recently had our second dinner at the Chicago Trump Tower Sixteen restaurant. After the amazing Winter meal we shared in February, we were anxious to experience the Spring menu to celebrate a family event. Excellent 12 course meal that builds around different regional specialty ingredients in the United States. I will not spoil the numerous surprises that enlighten the... More

Crab salad and roadie burger were excellent. Dessert was less satisfying, but still very good. Service was great, and the view is stunning. The dining room is also beautiful. All that said, this restaurant is really expensive.

My husband and I had a cocktail by the window. What a gorgeous view and atmosphere. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The tables were a bit close together but still nice! Will revisit on our next trip!

Had dinner for 7 here with family to celebrate a graduation. The flights are gastronomically inspired but left something to be desired. I think the ambiance was slightly off. For the price, you can get a more intimate experience at Alinea.
