Local First rate small town American Bar & Grill

Service, quality & value all riled into one. Locally owned, operated & friendly rolled into one. Older building lacking esthetics, but easy to overlook.

Thanks to the staff at Fat Willy's for excellent service and good food during our visit. We never would have found you without the reviews on Tripadvisor, but we're sure glad we stopped in. The walleye was done very well and the loaded potato soup was excellent.

Once a month I go on Thursday for 1/2 price pizza. All the pizzas and topping are 1/2 price. The pizzas are thin crust and good with cold beer on tap or bottles. On Wednesday it's all you can eat Walleye (a very good value). They feature a full bar and prices for food and libation are modest.

Great small town bar with lots of room. It is actually in three buildings in what used to be downtown. Now most restaurants and businesses are in other locations. The staff is friendly and the cooks do a great job. In fact if you sit in the bar area you can watch them in action. The boss is usually there... More

For home town bar food with a relaxed atmosphere Fat Willy's is a great place. The salads are immense and a great value. Pizza is good and we very often go for the walleye.

Bar/restaurant atmosphere. Sandwiches, dinners, pizza and horseshoes offered. Prices reasonable. Nothing fancy but like to go there. Staff very nice.

This is small and decent restaurant. Have eaten there a number of times. The best dish is the horseshoe. The meat and fries are good and sauce is decent, not real flavorful because it is a white sauce and the original horseshoe sauce has a cheddar like flavor. Very disappointed in the fried chicken dish. The chicken was fresh and... More

Always something good. Get there early for the fried chicken special on Tuesday--it's common that they run out of white meat as early as 7:00. Other specials are excellent--my favorite is the bacon-wrapped cajun pork fillet. Even a plain ol' Fat Willy burger is reason enough to stop in. Decent beer selection. The restaurant is seperate from the bar, which... More
