Long Island Ice Tea & Margarita's

The Long Island Ice Tea's are satisfactory with the amount of alcohol, but the mix is just okay. At $7.50 each I think they could do better. The margarita's were pretty good (not great, but not bad)

One critic testified that Guido's Bar and Grill in downtown Champaign was "rude, crude, uncomfortable, overcrowded and overpriced." And those were his positive evaluations. But Guido's is one of the most popular places in town, especially after Illinois football games. It also was a popular gathering place for out-of-towners during the recent state high school football championships. So what's not... More

I hate this place. Unfortunately, it's a popular place among my peers in my professional program, so I get roped into going way more than I'd like to admit. The drinks are way overpriced, assuming you can get one of the multiple bartenders' attention to even get one. I'm generally there for an hour minimum and I have yet been... More

I have only had one negative experience here and the management went out of their way to correct the problem. The food is good. Primarily bar type food. And they have a very interesting selection of Martini's.

The waitress was attentive and suggested her favorites on the menu. The entire establishment was clean and all the staff were friendly.

First of all, I can't imagine what genius decided the cuisine here is Italian. Maybe from the name? which is a nickname of the owner. It's American as French fries. Over the last few years I've watched Guido's go downhill as they've focused more and more on their bar business and let the food side slide. All of the eggplant... More

We stopped in here for drinks on 2 occassions. Both times our experience was good. They have outdoor dining and large screen televisions. I would recommend.

The food was really good, really loved the eggplant fries. Unfortunately, we should have listened when the server said she and the bartender were the only front staff. We got our drinks from the bartender ourselves, ordered our food which came out okay, but we felt like hostages when it came time to pay. At that point, the problem wasn't... More

Wanted to sit outside for lunch. . Waiter was attentive..but was only able to give us updates on why we were going to be waiting for an extended period. Apparently. .they had been left off the memo heralding the fact that it was mother's weekend. . (One of the highest anticipated revenue weekends) and caught unawares. I am all for... More

I had a BLT, my son had a club sandwich. We were both violently ill 2 hours after eating. Service was poor and they were not even crowded!
