Good Italian Food

I have lived in Cary for many years and have always had good food. I typically do take-out because the service is quite slow especially when you order pizza. My favorite go-to dish is the Spinach Rololo and it's enough for a dinner plus lunch the next day. I also like their new location Galati's... read more

I had two business meetings here on the same day and it worked out great. We were able to take advantage of their space with a nice hightop table in the bar area as well as enjoy $15 bottles of wine night. We did find it odd that on wine night they had to "go find the wine in the... More

I visited Galati's for lunch with friends. They serve typical greasy bar food under the "Italian" guise at a reasonable price. During our lunch, around 3 in the afternoon (there were about 8 people in the place - 5 of which were in my party) the music went off the TV and a channel with commercials came on. I called... More

Ate at the first location a few times when visiting family, was glad to try the new restaurant. It was almost too open & spacious, but the food and service were great. Waitress was especially helpful assisting my late-80's grandmother.

We have visited the new location 3 times and found the food to have gone down and service is only good for the regulars. The pizza has been like it was made at two different restaurants and not that hot. The appetizers are a bust and most of all SERVICE SUCKS! Pricing has gone up and food quality down. The... More

This was a favorite, but the move to new location is a true disappointment. We were weekly regulars, now they don't have dinner in dining room until 4. Limited soups, cold food and not like it was. Plus higher prices. Sad to see its no longer good.

This rating is for he new location, I was there November 22nd , it just opened up , The food in the bar area was so, so the atmosphere was comfortable. I can not rate the food in the dinning area but was told its the same old Italian that they served at the old location Which makes me not... More

We went here for a late dinner and order two pizzas. One with only veggies and the other with sausage and bacon. The crust was very light and flaky and delicious, as were the other toppings. I don't live in the area, but if I did this place would be my "go to" restaurant for pizza. There was a rumor... More

This is a place you can go and sit down and enjoy yourself. The food is excellent along with your waitress. It is a place for couples, families, friends or business. If you live in Cary it is not that far from your house

We went on a Sunday afternoon and were seated immediately. Wait staff was very attentive and brought us drinks and food immediately. Food was good and reasonably priced. There are obviously other places that are more upscale but for a local restaurant it is recommended.
