Great Italian food in the suburbs

This popular restaurant always seems packed with diners. I have eaten there for both lunch and dinner. Lunch includes your choice of great salads, or order a hot entree of pasta or meat dish. Waiter recommended a nice wine, too. Dinner included a stuffed artichoke appetizer and a roasted... read more

We try to go at least once or twice a month. Their food is amazing. We really enjoy the Calamarii Caprese. Need to make a reservation, especially on the weekend as they are always busy.

My husband and I decided to try Capri for lunch today. We were seated in the front part of the restaurant near the windows. The walls were decorated with fake ivy leaves and large artificial sunflowers. The tables were very close together and it was difficult to get comfortable without bumping into someone else's chair. The room seemed dusty and... More

The moment we walked in, we loved it! Very cozy, buzzing with friends, bar packed! I thought the wait would be over 30 minutes but we were seated immediately (table for 2)! The food, service, and wine were excellent. The only drawback was it was pretty loud, but in a happy Italian restaurant, that is to be expected!

Local hang out near Chicago with a large menu, Great Food and reasonable prices. This is old school Italian food and ambiance. Place is well-known in the community for giving back to charity and there is a good chance you will see a pro athlete while there.

This was a really good find. I felt good the moment I walked in, and knew I had made a good choice. Sat in the bar area to watch the game and really enjoyed my dinner. Eggplant Parm is highly recommended. Large portions of really good looking food went by me all evening. Everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying... More

Everything here is great. It gets packed on the weekends, so call-ahead/rsvp is best. Favorite dish is the dennis savard. Great cocktails too!

It's hard to find braciole anywhere. And it's even more difficult to find good braciole. Capri has good brociole and it's available as both an appetizer and an entree.

Went for a late lunch but the restaurant was still full, and after tasting their food, I can understand why. Located in a strip mall just off I-55 at County Line Road, the restaurant provides a varied and interesting menu of Italian specialities and "American" food. Friendly and professional staff, good service. Nice place in the area for a business... More

We met friends for dinner on Wednesday this week as first timeres at Capri. The Linguini con Vongole (clams) with white sauce was top drawer. Some restaurants, even in Chicago, serve this entre supplemented with clams from the can. This entre was 100% clams in the shell. Very good service. It seems to be the place to be in the... More
