Awesome place to meet friends

Spent an evening here reuniting with friends that we hadn't seen in years. Shawna was our server and she did a fabulous job! All of our meals were perfectly cooked and my friends raved about the garlic fries. I enjoyed testing all the Beers offered and found that each one was full of flavor and... read more

Every time I/we go there, the food and entire experience is excellent. From the front door to the cooks, everyone is very nice and personable. Sometimes we go for a quick "burger" dinner or more often a nice meal.

If you love garlic, you've gotta try the garlic fries. Great oriental wings, lobster mac and cheese, and a friend if ours lives the Kobe beef burger. I'll try that next time. Also good the CBLT.

We told the host when we checked in that we had a birthday in our party. When we were seated the host made sure to tell the server that we had a birthday in our party. The waiter never acknowledged it. We even ordered dessert.

Gordon Biersch is supposed to be an upper-level restaurant. The food is good, not great. The breaded steak sandwich is very good, the soups are poor quality, service is so-so. Kind of a hit-or-miss restaurant. The menu is changed frequently, with my favorite dishes taken off. Very pricey for not great food.

I have been to several of the Gordon Biersch Brewery's and I can say they are all fantastic. #1 on the menu for every are the Garlic Fries. Can't find any better. Then for those of drinking age it's Marzen, the only beer I have ever had that gets better as it gets warmer. Use caution though, it has a... More

This location couldn't be better for a meal... in the heart of the Promenade outdoor mall just off of 55/355 in Bolingbrook. They brew their own beer... I've had 2-3 kinds and really enjoyed it (Hefeweizen is my favorite). So if I was going here for drinks/apps only it would be great. But I wouldn't usually go to a restaurant... More

Went here in a Saturday night. Naturally, it was packed. Found a place to sit in the bar area. Despite all the full tables, service was top notch. The Hefeweizen is great! I really needed a good burger so I ordered the BBQ burger and it was great. Make sure to order the garlic fries as a side, or as... More

We have a saying in my family, if you think its good we always ask..."would you have it on your birthday?" That means its REALLY GOOD! Well, I have been here for my last 2 birthdays! The beer is great, the food is excellent, the service is very friendly. We will be back!

I am not a fan of breweries, I like beer but I am not a beer snob by any means. I agreed to go for my husband. I am sorry to admit he was right, this time. We started with the garlic fries and the most amazing cocktail I have had in a long time. It was a cucumber, basil... More
