Frequent dessert stop--Can't go wrong here!

We will often drive the 20 minutes to get to Andy's for a good dessert. I usually get either the strawberry sundae or else a root beer float. Hint: if you get a strawberry sundae, ask for extra strawberries for a real treat! When in season, I always get a strawberry shortcake sundae or a peach... read more

Andy's is a nice little walk up or drive through frozen custard place. Very good place to get a malt, milkshake, or frozen custard treat. Our "go to" is the Ozark turtle sundae. Open year round its a good treat in the winter or a cool off spot in summer. Lines can get long on those humid summer nights and... More

This tastes better then ice cream. Anything is good, favorite is jackhammer- blended banana/custard with rasberries spooned down the middle. Just great, try different combos, there cant be a bad one. No inside seating, there is more outside benches now, still not enough seating. like a party atmosphere with many people outside enjoying their favorites. Long summer drive thru lines... More

I had the key lime 'concrete' and it was good, though a bit on the sweet side. The custard itself is very smooth and tasty. There is no indoor seating as it is an old fashioned building with walk up windows and bench seating outside. Certaining something to try when in the area.

The title almost says it all. This frozen custard chain's Bolingbrook, IL location is the only one I have visited. If it is truly representative of all the Andy's locations then you can expect fresh frozen custard with quality toppings and mixes into a 'concrete' that should be best you have ever had. Service is friendly and quick. The stand... More

We go through the drive through on cold nights like tonight. Quick service, order at the window. The menu is quite large and everyone says that the concrete custard's are wonderful. We usually get a plain ol' chocolate malt which I love because they are thick and flavorful, not thin and like chocolate milk. Tonight we just got ice cream... More

Our son took us to one of his favorite stops while visiting him in MO. A short drive over the Mississippi takes you directly to a heavenly spot for the most delicious "concrete" ever. Creamier and more dense than normal ice cream, this will convert you to the divine!!!! DEEEELISHHH. Had to keep going back to make sure it was... More

This place is awesome but my problem is the Funky James Brown Concrete is so damn good I never want to try anything else!! In July I do however get the Key Lime Pie Concrete which happens to be my wife's favorite. Good stuff Maynard.
