I ordered the wings, which were barely edible, the Buffalo shrimp that was a pathetic handful of dime size pieces of shrimp. My wife got the club wrap with a side salad that was at least a week old... wilted lettuce and mushy tomatoes. ....we have always heard good things about this place and wanted to give a local establishment... We have been going to schooners over 25 years and the only noticeable Change is the faces of the waitresses. The onion rings are still the best ever. The pork tenderloin will still feed four Hungary people and the Italian sausage sandwhich is always worth the trip. Like most things in the Midwest, schooners is consistent and you can always... First visit to Schooners in 25 years and not much has changed. The Pork Tenderloin sandwich is to die for...and make sure you split it with someone as it is HUGE. Cash only...but ATM is onsite.

This restaurant is a local neighborhood sports bar. Nothing fancy, but consistently good food and friendly service. Best wings in town and a pork tenderloin to die for. Great onion rings, too. If you walk out of here still hungry, it's your own fault. Man-sized portions, so have a hearty appetite when you walk in.

We visited Schooner's often when we lived in the area. Were back in town and gave it a try. Love the wings and rings. I don't think it's been updated very much in all the years we've been there, but still a neat place. Only complaint I have is they still do not accept credit or debit cards. We typically... More

Great bar food and friendly atmosphere. And I have to mention the pork tenderloin sandwich. Be sure to ask for four buns (yes for one sandwich). We also love the onion rings which are home battered and deep fried. Yum!

My mom, sister and I split ONE tenderloin and got more than enough sandwich! We also ordered the onion rings and fries. Everything was pretty good. Tenderloins are a must try.

A true neighborhood bar with great wings. Our grad school daughter lives nearby and uses Schooner's to do her classwork. Real friendly place where we stopped twice in a two-day Bloomington visit.
