no deal but ok

Had some carry out today it was pretty good but average. You would think since they don't take debit or credit card because of the cost that they would be able to pass a little saving onto their customers. But they are same price as anywhere else with probably a lot less overhead to worry about. So... read more

Onion rings, battered wings, beer served in big glass goblets, a very casual feel - the king tenderloin sandwich is actually 3-4 meals within a single sandwich, and really get 4 buns and lots of pickles and onions with it. Plan ahead for cash only, but the array of classic american pub cousine, featuring some kind of approach to the... More

I have always wanted to try Schooner's for the King tenderloin, but tended to forget because its location is off the beaten path. Finally visited over lunch on a weekday. We sat at a booth in the bar area and ordered the sandwich. As advertised, it is HUGE. It was served on a small pizza pan with any number of... More

We had dinner here and I had the Quarter Chicken dinner. I ate all of my dinner. I had nothing on my plate to take home. My husband had the Pork Tenderloin and that thing is H-U-G-E! Why even serve it on a bun?!!! I mean, really?!! My daughter had the cheeseburger and fries and ate the cheeseburger and left... More

Hadn't been here for awhile, and I was craving onion rings. The restaurant has been spiffed up and it looked good and felt good. The food however was not so good.I ordered a reuben sandwich and, of course, onion rings, The reuben was awful; very rubbery and artificial tasting corned beef. The rings were not at all like they used... More

Very clean little place. Family friendly. Prices are affordable. The tenderloins are suppose to great. They are huge but didn't taste amazing as I thought it would. Tasted like a frozen tenderloin that you can get anywhere. Would go back again. They have all u can eat fish on Tuesday nights- would like to try that.

On a very busy Friday night we waited a bit for a table, but enjoyed the beer while we waited. The reasonably priced food was worth the wait and the service was excellent.

Comfortable surroundings, good food and plenty to each. The onion rings were the best I ever had to eat. Plus, a good selection of beer served cold. Yum!
