My mom, sister and I split ONE tenderloin and got more than enough sandwich! We also ordered the onion rings and fries. Everything was pretty good. Tenderloins are a must try.

A true neighborhood bar with great wings. Our grad school daughter lives nearby and uses Schooner's to do her classwork. Real friendly place where we stopped twice in a two-day Bloomington visit.

Schooners has a friendly atmosphere and was busy which is a sign of a good restaurant. The broiled catfish was excellent and the fried chicken is a must. I was in Bloomington for a cheerleading competition. I am cheering for Schooners and cant wait to come back next year.

I grew up in the midwest and really miss the local bar food type restaurants. My sister highly recommended Schooner's and we were not disappointed. The onion rings are a must have, We shared the tenderloin sandwich between 3 of us. It was great!

Old stale interior. Smells like a stale beer and old fried grease. If you need a Grease Fix this is your place but the food is NOT that good folks. Bar food, pitchers and greasy onion rings. Dated 60's place and outside beer garden. Have had more than one rude waitress so Ill not go back.

Good place to go and have a simple meal. Good selections and reasonable pricing. Plain decor and atmosphere. Nice beer garden for good weather visiting.

I have been to Schooners far more times than I can count - The reason? The wings and rings flat out - though there are several places to get Hot Wings now in this area, Schooners are still the best and their onions rings can not be topped and I have had onion rings all over the world. It's nicely... More

Prompt, attentive service during a Saturday noon hour full house. We'd gone in for burgers and hearing nearby diners talk about the 'king' pork tenderloin, ordered it instead. Our server suggested that one would be enough for two. It is! We added a side order of fries (which arrived hot and crisp) and coleslaw. Pepsi products with full bar service.... More

Sort of a hole in the wall place, but comfortable. Food is pretty decent. Prices are pretty cheap - so you get what you pay for, but I'm not knocking that. Would certainly go back when it's warm enough to sit outside. Only complaint is that the full menu isn't available outside.
