A stop along our path purely by accident was a great find. Excellent fast service with really great tasting specials. Looks small from the outside but opens up to a large seating area. The large amount of cars at1130 suggests its a local haunt which is allways a good sign. Dont pass up the opportunity to eat here

Not worth it. Our local friends suggested it. Typical American food known for fried chicken and potatoes. We could not order the omelettes after 12 on Saturday . Settled for two regular hamburgers and side if fries. Cost was $14 including our tip.

If you are looking for middle of the road food and a super casual atmosphere, then this is the restaurant for you. I realize a lot of their customers are older, but most of the food I've ordered has little to no seasoning so luckily there are salt and pepper shakers on the tables. The waitresses are all awesome...I've never... More

I recently went to Shannon's Five Star Restaurant twice in the past week. Once for Breakfast and Once for Lunch to try their Blue Plate Special (Chicken Fried Chicken). I'm happy to report that I wasn't disappointed with either meal. Breakfast is pretty straight forward. The bacon and eggs were quite good and the coffee was hot and plentiful. Our... More

Here is a huge difference between Shannon's and chain restaurants. First of all is the ownership. You will usually find one of the owners there at any time. The Hostesses are fantastic. The waitresses act like they are having a good time serving customers. The food is delicious. Here is the kicker, they don't try to get you out of... More

Great homecooked food. All of the soups are slendid. Great sandwiches and burgers. If anything, it is a little salty. Otherwise, go! enjoy!

Shannon's is very large diner with a well earned reputation for good food and quick, friendly service. I've eaten at Shannon's a couple dozen times and never had a bad meal. If you're looking for a nice lunch spot serving up comfort food, Shannon's is your place. I highly recommend the buffalo chicken salad and/or salad.
