Best Chinese buffet in Central Illinois-only at 11 to 12 noon. The food gets cold on the buffet as the lunch wears on...don't go after 12:30 pm. Food is not fresh at all. At 11 to noon it is usually great! more

Ming's is your typical mega-buffet. I hesitate to call it a "Chinese" buffet, as 2/3 the food is of American or other non-Chinese origin. The Chinese entrees they do serve are rather bland and taste very similar to each other. The sushi is average: not great, not bad and consists mostly or rolls. Ming's was a bit crowded and hot the day I visited. It had the typical things you'd find at a Chinese buffet steam table. Rice, noodles, General Tso's, broccoli beef, etc. I had a fine meal, but nothing was outstanding. Nothing was bad either.
