6 of us had dinner at Tribella last night to celebrate my birthday. We live nearby. This is the best Italian restaurant near where we live. It has nice atmosphere, you can bring your own wine ($15 corkage fee but that is fine with me) and the food is always good. Very fair price. The service was attentive and not... More

As others have mentioned, living in this area we have been visiting this restaurant since they opened. It is still a favorite. The staff tends to stay in place which is nice and the food in consistent. We each have our favorite dishes (my wife dreams of the penne arrabiata) they make occasional changes but the core menu has been... More

Took family based on reviews. Outside of restaurant is in need of new paint and repair. Inside a little better. Place was pretty empty- 7pm on Sunday night yet service was unbelievably slow. Food was good but not special enough to make a repeat visit.

We have been visiting Tribella since their opening some 12-15 years ago, and from day one, the food and service has been top notch. This despite several ownership changes and the obvious staff turnover. One nice thing about Tribella though, is that the staff actually doesn't turnover nearly as frequently as other restaurants, so you can develop relationships. The food... More

Tribella has been a favorite of ours since we moved into the area fifteen years ago. The atmosphere is tastefully done and the lighting is perfect. The wait staff are very attentive and seem as though they enjoy their job. While there, try the rigatoni, my husbands favorite. I usually order one of their chopped salad varieties. For these reasons... More

Love this place...go there frequently. Like it so much, we're having our anniversary dinner there this Fall for about 30 family members. Never have been disappointed with any of their selections. Reasonable prices and, with one exception, excellent service. Waiting time not bad with reservations. Excellent wine choices with reasonable prices.

This medium-sized restaurant is a bit off the beaten track, and easy to miss if you don't know it's there. We heard about it from friends. The menu is mainstream Italian, sort of, with a strong emphasis on meat, with some a few fish dishes. There were no vegetarian entrees. My wife, a vegetarian, had to piece together a soup, salad,... Nice bar area with friendly bar staff. Food is very ordinary with no real Italian flair. There's better Italian in the Fox Valley.

I had to write a review about Tribella after reading some of the negative comments. We relly like going there. It is not too fancy, but it is much nicer than Fridays or Chilis. I think the food is very good. The service has always been excellent. It is one of those places you can go and just relax and... More
