We stopped there after a days drive. Service was outstanding and very prompt. Our waiter had a great sense of humor. The food was very good and served in a well timed manner. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Will return on another trip through

Really good food at a reasonable price. The menu has something for everyone. My wife doesn't eat beef but I do. She loved the trout and I the steak cooked just the way I ordered. Nice salad and vegetables. The baked potato was great. You won't be sorry!!

The billboards on the interstate claim "If haven't been to Jaker's, you haven't been to Idaho". Fortunately, Idaho is close to a paradise for carnivores and Jaker's features local beef, trout, potatoes, homemade beer and bread. They claim that the potatoes are rubbed with bacon fat, salt and pepper and come out of the oven fresh every 30 minutes. I... More

We dined at Jaker's on a Tuesday evening and enjoyed a fine meal complemented by a tasting of Idaho microbrews. Our server was friendly, knew the menu and wine and beer lists and offered suggestions. Salads were okay but not exceptional. Entrees were well prepared and flavorful. Clearly, locals eat here as there were several regular customers in the restaurant... More

We drove for about 10 hours and wanted a relaxing place to eat. The La Quinta in town recommended Jakers. They have a nice beer selection and good choices of american fare. My girls enjoyed the kids menu and my wife took advantage of the Salad bar. All in all we had a nice time and the food was good.

Our service was good, as it has been on a couple of previous visits, but after dinner I was reminded why I don't go there often. I had a miso glazed salmon entree. The salmon was dry and very fishy. The sauce was gelatinous and bland. The house salad that came with dinner was fine, and the scones are great,... More

Overall Jaker's was good but not great. The French onion soup was really salty & the clam chowder was okay. The family liked the potato & tortilla soups quite well. I had Drunken noodles which was very tasty. The salad bar was very poor tonight & the wife wasn't too happen about it. They just didn't have half the items... More

Went here in the Spring and ate from the salad bar. The quality of the salad food was excellent, but isn't it all about the scones anyway!? Delicious. And friendly folks there, too. I'd definitely return.

Jaker's was recommended by the Holiday Inn Express Staff and if we mentioned we were staying there we even receive a 10% discount. My husband and I shared a Prime Rib entree... local meat, they said, which is the only meat my hubby will eat. My daughter wanted the salad bar, but it wasn't quite up to snuff for a... More
