Early dinner in the bar. Great food and good service. Told me they were taking the Black and Bleu Salad off the bar menu. Big mistake! It is a great salad. Food there is excellent. Didn't like the coffee.

There see many restaurants to consider whole vacationing in Sun Valley. The Ram, located in the SV Inn is a must for sure. Among the outstanding entrees, our party of nine had the lamb chops, some said the best they've ever had , my filet was amazing and I've had my fair share of them, the salmon was as fresh... More

We went to the Ram Bar, because it was honestly one of the few places in town to get a drink and watch the olympics. We've had bad experiences at the Ram restaurant, so we avoid that one. The bar had a nice ambiance with a couple exceptions. 1) I guess even though it's called the Ram BAR, they legally... More

My wife and I went out for a date night during our family vacation. The Ram was the perfect spot. For starters, the general manager was wonderful. He educated us on the history of sun valley and made us feel welcome. The food was fantastic and larry the piano player set the atmosphere perfectly. We will definitely return next year.

We eat here every year when we visit Sun Valley after Christmas, and have yet to be disappointed. While it's not cheap, the food is always good and plates are always empty at the end of the meal. During our most recent visit the restaurant was extremely busy, resulting in some food arriving out of order, but we still managed... More

We ate dinner here on a warm, but rainy evening and they had all of the windows open, which let in a gentle breeze and made it the perfect atmosphere. It doesn't open until 5 or so and I would definitely suggest making a reservation ahead of time. When we got there, people were lined up outside, waiting for it... More

If you really want the Sun Valley experience, eat at the Ram. Love to go there in the summer and sit on the patio and watch the beautiful people go by. The food and service is top notch. Very Austrian feel. A pianist plays all the classic (especially from the Sound of Music) and takes requests. We went there with... More

I loved the rustic yet beautiful setting of The Ram, the formal dining room of the Sun Valley Inn. Though the wait staff was REALLY busy, they were most attentive and kind. Great wine list, exceptional menu choices, and as would be expected pricey, but that IS Sun Valley for you.
