We stopped as we had been told that their baked goods were excellent, particularly the cinnamon rolls. We got a cinnamon roll and muffin to go, one both were definitely not fresh, and no better than what you would find at your local grocery store chain. Price was high as well. I will not return.

If you're an early riser you're in luck (I'm not) but the wait wasn't really that bad. Breakfast here is as good as it gets ... like one of those places in NYC or other big cities that draw huge crowds for weekend brunches, they line up every day here. We ate here all three days we were in town... More

The mountain ethic comes through wonderfully at the Baking Company: traditional hearty breakfasts with creative twists; aprons hanging from the ceiling like prayer flags; baked goods that could be standalone meals. This place is full of fun and great food, and definitely deserves to be at the top of everyone's list while in Stanley.

This is our 3rd trip to Stanley and the bakery is a must stop. I have had the eggs, the French toast, and this year I had the oatmeal pancakes...delicious ! Believe me, even though you might have to wait 10 or 15 mins, it is well worth the wait. Enjoy!

When you're hungry for a great breakfast in the Stanley area, this is the place to go as all previous reviewers have written. In October, we learned it's about 10 when there's little waiting for order breakfast and get served. Regardless, it is worth waiting for. We got the migas. Excellent!

Wow! This is a special place. A must do in Stanley and definitely a must stop whilst on the Ponderosa Pines Scenic Highway 21. The oatmeal pancakes were so good we plan to follow up to discover the recipe. The turkey BLT sandwich, their most popular, was fabulous. My wife loves sweet potatoes, and her sweet potato hash was delicious.... More

We stopped for a quick lunch as we travelled the Sawtooth and Salmon River Scenic Byways. In a town of 100, who would expect such delights? We sat outside on a beautiful day and devoured an amazing grass-fed beef burger and a delightful salad of tomato, mozzarella, spinach, lettuce, and basil pesto. Hungry now, just thinking about it

Other TA reviewers have this place down pat. The ladies that run the little coffee bar/breakfast cafe/sandwich shop are friendly, efficient, and very busy. Our group of six had various deli-type sandwiches and our turkey Reubens were especially good. But, so was everything else. Prices are fair, service is pleasant, and prices are fair.

Stanley,ID is a small town of 63, with few choices of places to eat. We arrived at lunch time and noticed this as one of the options to eat at. As mentioned by other reviewers, the parking lot was full and there was a line out the door. The inside seating was tight and cramped, but there is also outside... More
