The meal was truly an unexpected and delicious treat, but with only a few tables that are by the windows with views to die for... be sure to make a reservation!

We came for Fathers Day. What a treat. Each dish was perfect, I had pork and my husband steak. Great recommendation on a glass of Cabernet. Dessert homemade and out of this world. Food was exceptional. Service fabulous, and the rustic charm and ambience makes it unforgettable!

Talk about a cozy table with a great view. We never miss going to the Sawtooth Hotel Restaurant whenever we are in Stanley. Pork schnitzel is my favorite thing on the menu and be sure to order a large goblet of beer.

Although there are not many restaurants in this small town, this definitely is the best place for dinner in Stanley. However, I do believe it would probably give any eatery in a larger town some real competition...it was quite good! A group of 14 of us went to the Sawtooth Hotel Restaurant the night we returned from rafting on the... More

We had dinner here after getting off the Middle Fork of the Salmon for four nights. We had such great food on our trip that we were really not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised. We loved the lamb curry and our dining companions loved their entress.....ahi tuna, salmon. And, yes, the rhubarb pie was amazing. This hotel is a... More

We recently stayed the weekend at the Sawtooth Hotel and ate dinner in the restaurant. Aimee had the trout and I had the curried lamb. The trout was underdone and the lamb, although pretty good, was far too sophisitcated for my taste. The "seasonings" overpowered the meat. All through dinner I found myself wishing for a steak ... which they... More

i hate to give this place anything but 5 *'s...but our meal was not up to the standard of all the many other visits. my fish tacos were bland..bland the lamb curry was good, but in each bowl, just 2 pieces of meat (think that they should check a bit more, before sending it out). i had heard that the... The choice of inside or outside was taken away from us by pretty stiff winds the night we dined here but we got a table in front of a large picture window which looked out over the unused garden seating and on to the mountains beyond. The décor here is decidedly "mountain lodge" and I assume that the bar can... More

Blackberry, raspberry, rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream! Yum!!! Very fresh, not overly sweet or gummy, served warm. The rest of the meal didn't quite attain that level of excellence but was also very good. A thick chunky potato leek soup with bacon and chard was quite tasty. Smoked trout appetizer a tad dry but the dill sauce helped. Accompanying... More
