High quality dining in a nicely renovated 1930's vintage hotel restaurant. Check out the photo of the original and admire the renovation done by the current owner. I had the Shepard's Pie - not a typical choice for me - and it was delicious. Very nice after a long hike in the fabulous Sawtooth Mountains. As a side note, September... More

Four of us had dinner here and all the dishes were plentiful and delicious. Service was efficient and polite. Nice views of the Sawtooth Mountains. Worth a visit if you are staying in the area.

Our birthday group dined here on a slow night. The staff was very accommodating despite our rowdiness. Quite frankly, we were D&D. The birthday girl had the flat iron steak as did one other and they both enjoyed the meal. The pork schnitzel and the Shepard's pie were also devoured with good reviews. Wine list is decent and budget minded.

This place is very popular and busy and we had seen positive reviews about this restaurant. They do not take reservations and we were lucky to get a table on this warm sunny midweek evening. Staff were friendly, but after ordering we had to wait for some time (45 min at least), even the cold appetisers took very long to... More

After 5 days in Stanley, this was the best we found. Disclaimer: two in town recommended: Idaho Rocky Mountain Lodge and Backcountry Bistro were booked or not open while we were here. The portions here are huge. A special salad of snap peas, baby carrots, feta cheese and lemon mint vinaigrette was excellent. The pork schnitzel was gigantic- two large... More

Nice service. Informal atmosphere. Try the curry. They also had excellent pie. The owner was very friendly.

I was looking forward to eating here--and the setting is very nice. It is in the oldest building in stanley and has a very authentic feeling. The service was great but the food was not what i expected--the steamed brocoli was the best thing on my plate. The red potato salad had huge pieces of potato which meant I got... More

Dined here with as a group that was part of a Middle Fork Salmon River rafting trip. BTW, it was an awesome trip and I highly recommend the outfitter, MFRE. There were 16 of us and everyone enjoyed their meal. The place was busy but service was decent. This is quite the local gathering place for the locals too with... More

I make a chance to eat here at least once while im in town, while living in stanley we ate there about once a... More

The meal was truly an unexpected and delicious treat, but with only a few tables that are by the windows with views to die for... be sure to make a reservation!
