My husband and I ate dinner at the restaurant because we were staying in one of the cabins and it was more convenient than driving to Stanley. We had prime rib, which was a little chewy and gristly. The service was prompt considering that it was after Labor Day and much of their help had left for the season. The... More

Brunch in a rustic setting with great views of the lake and Sawtooths - definitely worth the drive out of Stanley and working in some short hiking around the lake as well. Generous portions reasonably priced

Delicious innovative food. The waitstaff is excellent-we took out time and she made recommendations for us that we're right on.Our table had a lake view-exceptional.Again-extremely laid back.

We stayed at Redfish lodge before we went river rafting. It was a nice 2 bedroom cabin. It is a nice place to stay for a break from Sun Valley. It feels like going to the beach.

Ate here on a Monday night as other places were closed. The potato leek soup was horrible-a thin tasteless mess. The bread was plain and stale. The salads were ok but not great. My wife's mushroom tagatelle was very good but she found two large garlic cloves buried inside! My crispy Idaho ruby trout was well prepared but ruined by... More

We made our third visit to Redfish Lake Lodge this summer and decided to have breakfast in the restaurant. It was the weekend so the breakfast was buffet style. Lucky us. This is the second time we've had the buffet and it doesn't disappoint. We had a choice of breakfast meats, French toast, two types of quiche, biscuits and gravy,... More

Well you can't go to Stanley without heading out to Redfish lake. The scenery there is always great, especially when it's early in the morning and there aren't many people out and about. We went to the lodge for breakfast before embarking on the rest of our vacation. It was great, the food was very good. The coffee bar inside... More

We had heard that the food at the Redfish Lake Lodge was great, but our meal was just so-so. We had their nightly special of hanger steak and it was a little bland. Neither the sliced potatoes (not fully cooked) nor the potato & leek soup were very good - I was expecting more from Idaho potatoes! The wedge salad... More

After a night camping in the rain, this place was heavenly. The food is American comfort food, décor is rustic nostalgia. We had breakfast, eggs, bacon, toast, pancakes and an omelette. The layout of the restaurant was a little confusing, there was a man sitting in a little office which looked like the place you would go to ask for... More

Although we found the menu somewhat limited, everyone in our large party greatly enjoyed their meals. The prime rib was exceptional, and the salads were quite tasty and unique. The service was quite good, and the food was served within a very reasonable amount of time, especially given the size of our party.
