Best Pie but do your research first

If you like pie and you're in Sandpoint you have to stop at the Pie Hut. It's a tiny place with poor signage so use your GPS or get directions. Had the smoked salmon sandwich and it was delicious as was the iced tea. Regretting that we were too full for a slice of pie as they looked amazing.

We popped in for a piece of pie while traveling through Sandpoint on a roadtrip. Got there just before closing time so we took the pie to go but it certainly was yummy! I had the strawberry rhubbarb and is was great. Worth a stop.

Variety of homemade pies. Very good and cute shop in the heart of sandpoint idaho. They serve other foods and can buy pie by the slice or take a whole one home

Had to come all the way from Atlanta, GA to get my banana cream pie! All homemade from scratch. Lots of fresh berry pies too. By far the best pie ever!!!

We grabbed two pies for our trip home, and they were delicious (we tried apple and strawberry/rhubarb). Have cash on hand as they are a bit old school that way. The inside is very kitschy in decor, so this may or may not be to your liking if you wanted to sit in and enjoy just a slice.

Although the chicken pot pies are outstanding, the cream pies and fruit pies are superb, incredible and wonderful. If I had a spare hundred thousand dollars, I'd order up a bunch of pies and have a Guinness World Record pie fight. There would be no losers, only winners. Crusts are excellent, fillings are tasty and just the right consistency. You can't go... More

We never go to Sandpoint without stopping at the Pie Hut (not on the main drag.) We usually take a whole pie home with us. Yum.

The Pie Hut is a quintessential hole-in-wall northern Idaho restaurant. Dine in for lunch -- soup & salad & pie -- or pick up one of their delicious chicken pot pies to heat and to eat at home. (And while you're there, pick up a regular dessert pie, too.) All their pies are fantastic. The crust makes a pie, of... More
