slow, but good

Good pizza! Lots of cheese on the plain. But they said it was a half hour wait for a plain cheese pizza.... AND it was more like 45 min... good food, but be aware of the wait.

Off the beaten path just south of downtown in a residential neighborhood, but worth the search. Old school style pizza with TONS of toppings, good value, kids love it, can be loud with kids, sports teams, etc. but lots of fun ... recommended.

The place is very pleasant, service is friendly if a bit slowish. The pizzas are very good, but definitely on the heavy side. Meaning, a mini pizza is probably enough for two if you're over the age of 40. They are thick with thick crust and lots of cheese (and I asked for mine with half-cheese). A small would probably... We were staying at a nearby hotel for a getaway weekend and read the good reviews about Second Avenue Pizza on Trip Advisor. We decided to grab some pizza to bring back to our room. Our order was a medium garlic cheese bread with sauce and a medium 2 topping pizza. This order came to $19.82. The garlic cheese bread... More

We haven't had a pizza like this in a long time!! It was delicious! And there was a lot of food for the money!

Nothing spectacular, but decent. Not fine dining. Great place to take a bunch of kids.

The pizza might take a bit long to prepare (longer than most of us are used to), but it is definitely worth the wait. Fresh, tasty ingredients are piled up way high on a delicious crust. For the price, you will not get a better pizza. This is a must when you visit Sandpoint.

Second Avenue pizza has the best pizza in the Northwest U.S. The pizzas are layered with many toppings and the aroma of the cooking pizza is out of this world. The only problem we have is the pizzas are made my hand and they take their time to get it right. We call ahead so the pizzas are nearly ready... More
