Soup is made fresh daily and always sold out before dinner time!

This is the best place to eat in Salmon. The owners are there cooking every day. It is all fresh and made from scratch. Micro brews, good wine and filled with local people. Eat at the bar, at a table or out on the back patio. Service is friendly and professional. All the metal art on the... read more

This place was obviously a tiny shotgun saloon originally, so seating is really limited -- I've actually eaten standing up at the bar, huddled at the end. But the food is great -- I've even had some pretty tasty bahn mi there! Most recently, it was melted Gouda and provolone with ham and roasted red peppers on ciabatta with a... More

I had the soup and it was decent. The atmosphere was pretty cool and my coworkers sandwich looked pretty good.

In town for a hockey tournament, service was great! Friendly people all smiling and having a great time. We had a diverse group, from me being a very picky (read...big kid) eater to those in our party that let the server order for them. From my plain hamburger to Vietnamese pork, everyone was happy with the food and service. Although... More

The food had a flair that was unexpected in small town Salmon! The menu had everything from pasta to burgers but it was the quality the presentation separated this place from the rest! You won't be disappointed!

I really liked the homemade mushroom soup. The burger was cooked to order, not turned into a hockey puck! My wife's "appetizer" plate was more than enough for a meal for her.

A bite to eat at The Junkyard Bistro is always a good experience! Great soups, salads, sandwiches, rice bowls..all good! The Garlic Burger is a favorite of my husbands, and I can't seem to get away from the Smoked Salmon Sandwich..Highly recommended for a great meal in a fun atmosphere...beer and wine is offered as well!

The Bistro is the best place in town for a late-night bite, for a messy sandwich or entrée that's more ethnic than cold cut, for having a leisurely drink with friends at the bar...and for fabulous cheesecake. Fun atmosphere, and the dessert is worth saving some space. Just be warned--there's not a single sandwich on the menu that's not messy... More

Stopped by based on Trip Advisor. Glad I did. Amazing food. We all had pasta dishes which were all hand made goodness. The beer was cold and local and the barmaid was super friendly. Highly recommended for anyone seeking small town fun.

I have completed extensive travel for the last 2 1/2 months and this has been, by far, the best food experience during my traveling time.
