My husband and I traveled to Spokane for a car event, but drove to GW Hunters Post Falls, one of our favorite restaurants with a party of 10 for dinner. My husband ordered the 7oz Halibut entrée special at $23.When it finally arrived an hour after we were seated, the fish appeared smaller than a 4 oz cooked hamburger. It... More

This steakhouse was like going on a hunting expedition - animal heads were hanging and staring at you everywhere. However, my French Dip sandwich used quality prime rib and was very tasty, plus the service and prices were good. It is worth a visit.

I came to this restaurant a couple of years ago, but decided to go again today since I was in Idaho. I was yet again shocked by all the stuffed animals from bears to elk to rabbits to wolves to foxes and bison. I found it uncomfortable eating while these stuffed animals looked on. I come from a county that... More

This was my family's reunion place for years. Been there three times since the new owner and same thing every time. Portions are smaller, service is horrible and the food is not the same. We came with a party of 15 people-all got cold food and my brother didn't even get his meal! and it took a dispute to not... More

Got here at 6 was told there is a 15 min wait at 6:35 we got our seats. There were about 10 empty tables by where we sat. We weren't asked if we wanted something to drink I needed to ask. We ordered the prawns with onion rings and a salad. Fish and chips and a kids cheeseburger at 7:00... More

When we arrived there were 3-4 tables besides us there. It took several minutes to get our drink order in, though the wait staff was just standing around. I got my tea right away, but it took my boyfriend several minutes to get his wine, that ended up not being what he ordered. They made everything right & things got... More

We stopped for a late night dinner and was very disappointed. Wait staff was too busy closing down to bother much with us. Dinner was less than impressive for the price.

I don't mind a themed restaurant, but this one was loaded to the gills with stuffed wildlife. Wolves, turkeys, cayotes, elk, yak, cows, bison, bears, beavers, you name it, they stuffed it and hung it on the walls. Even a porcupine. The Food: the menu is extensive with items like elk staak, and yak burgers so there was no shortage... More

We tried GW Hunters again for breakfast this AM hoping it would be better than our previous visits. I am now officially over the place for breakfast. I ordered a veggie omelette and the best part was the English muffin. The omelette was just tasteless and the "fried potatoes" were slightly cooked old baked potatoes. It is too bad because... More

The new owner has made several changes-some great, some okay, others I think he's trying too hard. Food is still good, but not quite the flair it used to have. Employees are friendly and well attendant. I will keep returning, if only to see what changes next.
