Decent Mexican place in Pocatello and you get for what you pay for. It was cheap and the food had some taste. If your a fan of Guacamole this isn't the place for you. Tacos had some taste and the tostada was like eating from like Taco Bell. The staff was really nice and friendly and I'm sure next time... More

This place is a good alternative to fast food. Eady to find from thy HWY. My whole family was happy and back on the road on 1/2 hour.

We stopped here based on te great reviews on this site. Average Mexican Food at best. Chile rellenos were basically scrambled eggs wrapped around peppers. Have had better. Good salsa verde served with the chips. Service was excellent and friendly.

This is a very family oriented restaurant. The staff is friendly and the service is very good. Their Enchilada Nachos are some of the best I have ever eaten. I enjoy Mexican food and this food is sort of like comfort food for me and my husband. We go to other restaurants but El Herradero is our go to place... More

My wife and I recently visited El Herradero while meeting up with family. There were four of us total. The location isn't too terribly hard to get to but it is off the freeway a little bit. It is worth the drive though. It is in a little building. It is a sit down restaurant but it is very casual.... More

We met here for a brief business meeting, and I'd wished we'd gone somewhere else. Food was just ok - service was average, and the place wasn't all that busy. My co-horts' burrito was enormous, but he said it didn't have much flavor. My enchiladas were soggy, no texture contrast. Their salsa is pretty good, but chips have a little... More

The size of their super burritos would satisfy the appetite of a 1200 pound Grizzly bear. This thing is like 20 inches long and like 3 inches around. It was amazing. LOL I ate 2.

The salsa, it is perfectly spicy, rich and delicious...just like in Mexico, but this is Idaho! The shredded meat is always good in the burritos, nice staff, good cold beer.
